I mean this song is off of their 2nd maybe 3rd album, it isn’t uncommon for a new band to emulate sounds of their influences. They don’t deserve hate for that. My main issue was the singer being one kilt away from not just emulating but copying Jonathan Davis. I believe he has since ditched the dreads and straightened his hair. Also their live sound seems much better than their recorded sound but with more attention comes better production. they’re a very tight group of musicians. Now I just wish they’d get a real bassist instead of putting it on a backing track.
This is one of the most clearest recordings I seen yet this year! Also did I notice a huge improvement on the quality of the show and the overall sound? What a huge difference from 2021 to 2022!!! My darlings are getting better and better!
I'm pretty sure they did this as a tribute to Korn, not a copy. All of the musicians took different parts from different Korn songs and mashed it up with their own modern day sound. I like it. The rest of their music is very different
These guys have incredible talent and should come to the US more, i feel that with every show they do they only get better. Lyrically and down to the actual music is hypnotizing. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Bro if you listen close enough they don't have the same sound, Chaoseum is a nu metal/metal core band, their influences are a lot of the bands that came before them.
I actually think it's quite a cool song but I like old Korn it sounds like Korn before they lost there spark, if someone showed me this and told me it was korn (without knowing it wasn't them) I'm not sure how long it would take to pick up that it's a different band

I recently discovered Chaoseum. This was the 1st song I heard and i was hooked. Didn't really catch the similarity to Korn until a friend pointed it out. So what. I always liked Korn. Besides a lot of Chaoseum does NOT sound like Korn. They have some excellent kick ass songs i just love. Would love to see them live. Keep doing what you're doing guys! You rock! ❤❤
The voice, guitar sound, high spooky notes on the guitars, compositions, drumstyle, lyric subjects, the way they move onstage, it's litterly korn. It's done great, good band, but you haven't listened much korn if you think this doesn't sound like them.
CK Smile is an Iconic Stage Presence and just brutally dominates vocalists like Tyler Burges from Falling in Reverse (a great band) however these guys have a much better over all stage presence and much more real time talent by a long shot. "Great Job" would be an understatement here! The energy is like static lightning!! I believe if I could interview any band right now it would be Chaoseum. Maybe, just maybe in just 2 short years I can get these guys on our upcoming mobile stage for one hellish rock weekend rock fest! What do ya think guys?
been diggin' these guys for a while now.... they may be a bit overkill on the koRn wannabe sound at times, but I also vocally hear American Headcharge on the choruses of their songs. I even hear a little Orbit Culture on the heavy vocal parts (listen to actual album recordings)... Maybe it's the late 90's vibe i like they bring back. I'm not big on the makeup stuff but whatever, I like Motionless in White and theyre all into that lol...im not but i love the music.
I've never cared for the comparisons because at the end of day since when was it a bad thing to take inspiration from other bands and incorporate it into something both classic but new?? I agree they're a great fuckin band
There is a fine line between being a cheap copy cat and being inspired by others to become something new yet in between among the others. And this song is exactly that. I hope they make more songs like this.
There is a bass recording in the PA, they do not use amp too they go directly to the PA. Just discover them live this weekend it was the best sounding live I have heard

Their guitar duets are absolutely amazing. The drummer is an absolute beast And most Americans probably will never hear of them because they're stuck on American music.
I can't hear the bass.... regardless the formal members are just drummer, guitarists and lead singer, they must have a backstage bassist, the music sounds to light, even more for a Nu Metal genre!!
