That large bolt that you were wondering about is the decompression plug.incase you didn't want a decompression valve

I cant seem to get my chain tensioner to go loose enough to get the hole in the bar to sit on the peg, any ticks there?

@@f0x666 I haven’t had that issue. I put the chain on first then the bar. I would double check the drive gear is current for the chain and bar. My saw came with two different gears.
