hello pete. i am confuse to solve this problem in factory io using s7-300 cpu. do u mind to make a brief discussion about this tank level that is ID100 ( real ) because i am using comparators command ( dint) because if i use real it turns red. thanks

very helpful Video As Usual. I see the problem like offsetting the I/O Addresses for 0 to 10 and you should do the same for AI addresses on PLC , because the floating voltage on TIA Portal is coming from the PLC I/P not from Factory I/O.
I am learning from your good videos along with Rajvir Singh videos at the course..

Yes. The analog signal messed me up for a while. I often overlap various words in my programs as they get larger as well. Reinforces the fact that we should create a spreadsheet for all bits, words, and dwords as we develop our programs. Thanks for helping me learn as well.

Your previous video NORM_X use Int to Real such as %IW64 (Range from 0 to 27648) but why in this video you use Real to Real and fill with %ID112 which range is 0.0-10.0? How about %IW112 but Int to Real and 0-27648???

You are make mistake about ID100 because. You setup your analog imput on PLC 1200 on start IW100. In program starting reading your analog input 0-10V not from factory I/O but from PLC and even not corect becouse from PLC going
anlog synal intiger and occupying one word.Thanks for lesson. This program is very nice for beginer and I can learn and practice.

Network 1 was just a simple 3-Wire control that turned on a "Sys Run" Bit, that controlled a green and red light. Here is a new video that might explain things better: th-cam.com/video/T9kPdUtWZZw/w-d-xo.html
