      there is no word like PLC engineer, rather you can say Industrial Automation Engineers.

    Hi, may I ask one question about PLC. How does PLC measure digital value. How does PLC know it js open status or close status ?

    • @realpars
      @realpars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Adam,
      Thank you for your question. You asked an essential question: the basics of all electronic digital devices used today, including your smartphone. All digital devices work on the basics of “ON” or “OFF” or a “1” or “0”. All this is due to the invention of the transistor by Bell laboratories called the bipolar transistor. The bipolar transistor makes the PLC in different forms of electrical and electronic components. I am providing you the links to help you with your question and you’re learning. The last 3 are videos from REALPARS that you can find on TH-cam. I recommend you read or watch them in the order I give you. Happy learning!

    Hey Realpars, thanks for the education
    Question, does S7-1200 have a special communication module for OPC UA?

    • @realpars
      @realpars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Aktsar Abidikar,
      Thank you for your question. Here is information that will help you with a link;
      OPC UA communication is supported on S7-1200 CPUs with firmware version 4.4 or higher. The CPU enables data access by supporting configuration as an OPC UA Server.

    Please, is it possible to back up the software and hardware of the Siemens S7-1200 plc programmed with tia potlrtal V11, when I searched on the internet, tia portal v11 does not back up hardware, my equipment is working in good condition, I just want to have a PLC If anyone can help me, I will be able to pay for the help.

      If you have purchased TIA Portal version 11, which is an earlier release from Siemens, you should indeed have a valid license. However, if you're using a trial version, please note that trial versions typically have limitations, such as the inability to save hardware and software configurations.
      Since version 11 is quite old (released in March 2015), it is no longer supported. The current version available is V19, which you can try for 21 days with full functionality. To upgrade from version 11, you will need to first upgrade to version V13 before moving to the latest version, V19. Direct upgrades from version 11 to V19 are not supported.
      Siemens offers licenses for these versions, and you can find detailed information about upgrading through the link I’ve included. This link will guide you through the upgrade process from version 11 to V13 and beyond. Additionally, depending on your location, you may be able to download trial versions by registering for free.
      For more details on Siemens software, please visit the main TIA site page linked below.
