Good Job Dad! Fantastic job to you're helper as well. Good to see the little one getting involved in seeing a problem, what to do to take it apart and use our brain to figure out and fix the problem, put it back together and see it WORKS again! All around outstanding Parenting, while helping internet strangers out on how to fix our similar problems. Cheers!
You are a wonderful time and wallet saver - thank you!! I have a 2009 Acura MDX and my dog seatbelt was stuck (just like the other person) making that rear seat useless for everyone except the dog. I followed your instructions- and avoided the false lubricant claims on the internet- and voila, I have a functional rear seat again! The hardest part was prying the two casings apart, but I was glad to know that it was possible without ruining the entire buckle.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My dog's safety harness got stuck in the front passenger seat buckle, now I can do this repair so my Mom won't have to ride in the back seat!!😁😁😁
most of the time, I never really expect a diy video like this to solve my problem, but yours did! Thanks for the simple and informative video. You helped me to fix my locked buckle which had a piece of plastic jammed in there preventing the spring from moving. Good tutorial 5/5 ⭐️
I totally agree with the other people who commented on the lack of videos. You did a great job & you had a very good helper! I’m subscribing…keep up posting videos. Thanks.😊
I've got a 2006 Hyundai Tucson that just stopped latching. Now my Wife is driving me nuts about it. You're right, there's not many YT videos showing this issue. Although I didn't want to apply WD-40, I just used electric contact cleaner so it wouldn't get all greasy.... Note: I couldn't get mine working right until I removed the back side. Then removed the ''Red'' Release Button. It seemed to have a lot of dark colored fuzz mixed with dust, so I wiped all that out, gave it a couple blasts of the cleaner and it worked good after that.... Thanks for posting the video....
Thank you for your perseverance. I watched and was about to do as you did but then I thought I'd try using my new can of WD40 spray silicone grease on a long nozzle, as opposed to the WD40 multi use which isn't a grease. It worked first time without any dismantling. Might not work for everyone but I'm happy.
Thank you good sir! I'm selling my car and my dog's safety harness seatbelt adapter was stuck inside the lock. Thanks to this video, I was able to get it out and keep the adapter with very minimal damage to the lock itself. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I’m goin 2 buy a can of air spray. I tried the 40 but it’s still stuck and I was considering replacing but dealer wants bout 4 🤦🏽♀️. I could get a used 1 but I think I’ll try takin it apart 1st cause this is the 3rd time it’s gotten stuck.
This one is more like "what to do if WD40 and/or lithium greae aren't enough" :) (In my case spraying with some penetrating oil then jiggling it and I heard some gunk inside break and it started working again)
Thank you. My cat’s seatbelt leash was stuck inside the buckle, and this was the video that helped me release it.
Good to see your kid is around to see how to troubleshoot a problem. A good teacher goes along way in life. Good job. ..

Replacing a safety belt buckle could cost you hundred dollars, let's try to fix it first!
The kid would be a good vlogger
Damn you just saved grandma from going to the dealer 🙏
My seatbelt locks the three in front two of them broke is it easy to replace them
Well done! 👍
How were you able to pry seatbelt case open?
At the beginning he says he uses a piece of metal and a screwdriver?
Thank you this helped...spot on
