It doesn't affect or bother me, when ppl are n back of u, n the shot or walking by, doin a haul, or just tellin us stuff...Or when the lawn mower dishwasher or dryer is in the background esp when yall are sharing ur journeys with us. I rarely even notice, yall should worry about it either esp while ur cut for time got keep things moving 😊Tfs
Be aware this brand can decolor and fade fabrics, it destroyed $3,000 worth of my silk joie tanks I had for work by either saturating the product into the fabric and not lifting or completely yellowizing lighter tanks.
I can confirm, as someone from the States, that Target is very therapeutic and it feels like I go once every one or two weeks. It is one of my happy places lol.
It can also get very expensive target is like a black hole that sucks up all your money and you come out hours and hours later with carts full of stuff and your like oops I only came here for xyz oops oh well
My friends and I used to go to Target for fun, but we had a rule: No cart. No baskets. If you can't carry everything to the register, you can't get it. That's how we stopped ourselves from going overboard with all our snacks and other things 😂 mostly snacks though... let's be honest.
I'm an American who's living in Canada, and I just didn't know how good we had it with Target until not having it!! Definitely the #2 store I miss the most (#1 is Trader Joe's ofc).
I’m from Washington state and Hawaii and I live a few miles from Target stores in each state. I’m smiling because you are so cute at how excited you are, and I realize I don’t appreciate Target as I should! Just take it for granted! I lived in B.C. In my past and so enjoy you all and your channel! Aloha and greetings from the states. You all are definitely a JOY in my life! Thank you!
I love target too. Sometimes I just go to walk around and get ideas. I have used their peal and stick wallpaper to cover and dress up old shelves, dressers and the look is wonderful.
I live within ten minutes from multiple target stores and, I can assure you, the excitement is real every time. You guys are adorable and I appreciate you❤️
I worked across the street from Target and me and my coworkers went every single day. Sometimes multiple times 😂. It was good to get in a walk, look at the new merch, and do errands on our break in the store 🙌🏽 🥳
Oh!!! my GOD!!! I grew up in East Harlem and now I have a my business just two blocks away from the TARGET 🎯 you visited. I WISH I COULD HAVE MET YOU. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL Love all your great work. I started following you because I suffered of depression and was always so tired so as a way of relaxation I started watching TH-cam channels. One of these channels that inspired me to get up and continue was yours. 🤗😘😘🤗
This video made me wonder how many Targets are near me. There are 11 in a 10 mile radius. 20 within 18 miles. I have been told I live in shopping central. I’m about 10 minutes from the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, California. Maybe I’m spoiled but I don’t get this excited shopping at Target or anywhere really. It could also just be an age thing. When you’ve been home keeping for decades, shopping for anything is just another chore. I’m so grateful for online stores. I don’t have to put on shoes and I can do it from my comfy chair.
It is therapeutic to visit the home needs place once in a while. i do this rarely but when i do i spend at least 3-4 hours in it visualising everything i would do if i had a place of my own.
I used to live in the US, now I’m back in Sweden. I miss Target sooooo much. It’s the first store I go to every time I go back for a visit. Best way to kick the jet lag. Walk the ailes up and down for a couple of hours 😁
I also have a bunch of steps in my skincare routine. I use the same product for each step AM/PM where possible. I also use small arts and crafts containers from the dollar store to take just a little of the product in my bag. Or I try and get mini sizes where I can so that it takes up less space. Also paring down to essential steps just for travel is a good way too.
I used to live a couple of blocks from this Target and must say it’s 1 of the best! And it’s not just you Gater, it’s very therapeutic! I miss being able to go there at least once a week 🎯
OMG! I found your channel last month and I can't stop watching your videos every single day and today I realized that you have another channel !!!! I'm gonna see makeovers from now on to the end of the year 🤣!! Greetings from México 😊
I'm from the States. Target is my weekly shopping venture and I always start at the dollar spot first, then the grocery toiletries and cleaning aisles. Before check out, shop the home and clothing section where my retail therapy kicks in. It's too bad you don't have a Target in Canada. It's so good. 🛍
I keep a list for packing and make adjustments to it depending on where I am going and the time of the year. Love you and your team and love the work you do.
I hope Target goes to Canada. live in Boston and Target is definitely my me time!! You all are the best! glad you got to enjoy. The makeover is so beautiful and always!
Yes! Target is like therapy! The bargain spot when you first walk in is very hard to resist. I see that you liked the large speckled black and white dot print, which I got two of last year there. I hung them in a guest room with another piece of wall decor in between.
We do LOVE Target in the states. It is a self care activity, even if you don’t purchase. Just browsing and getting inspired. We American girls love Tar-Jhay!
I simplify my skincare for trips so I pack half of what I use at home. Something to remove makeup, something to clean my face with, a cream and a sunscreen are totally enough. If I have bigger luggage I may add another thing, something refreshing.
I'm laughing so hard at your reactions ! I'm from N.Y. and much older. In my day Harlem was the most dangerous place to be. Glad its gotten better. Shopping is very therapeutic especially with girlfriends.
I lived in midtown NYC in the 80s and the thought of a national chain in Harlem was preposterous. Harlem is an amazing community and I'm happy to see it thriving. However! People need to support local, small businesses there to keep its diversity. ❤️🕊️
At 9:35 YES! I live in the states and Target is therapy. I wandered our Super Target with a Starbucks for a couple hours just looking at things. It was like spa time.
I have multiple targets all under 10 miles from me and I go there at least once a week. My enjoyment has yet to dissipate. The best days for me are when I go to both Ikea and Target!
I write a list from top of my body to bottom. Example I start with what I use for my hair then my face etc. I write in my miscellaneous my meds that I need to take and how many outfits and underwear etc. I put my suitcase in my extra bedroom along with my list. I check off as I put stuff in. I rarely forget anything. I'm the one everyone comes to for everything.
My packing process is: several days ahead of time I make a list, which I leave on my desk next to my keyboard, so I can add to it when I think of things for a few days. Then when I pack, I follow the list, then cut or add things.
Hi, no Targets here in Europe😅. The more I enjoy your visit there and the excitement💓. Love your videos, they help me to see the living space with different eyes and be playful. Thank you!!!! I wish I could be a part of such a creative team 😉🥰 Lots of good luck to you all and looking forward to new tranformations🍀🍀🍀
Oh I love Target, and like to go there a lot. I love so many of their decor items and I totally understand shopping there when you live in the states. I also love their furniture and so many other things. Thanks for sharing this shopping video at Target it was so much fun coming along and I really loved that makeover, and all of the decor that you got and added to their space, that was a really fun video to watch, and so was this one. Thanks so much Alexandra and team AG, I hope that you have a great week, sending love and hugs, bye for now. 😂🤗💜
I go to target once a week for sure. It is therapeutical for me, I try not to buy anything and just go for the vibe but their dollar section always get me. 🥰 I love how there is a Starbucks at my target, so that is a plus. Now I am starting to go to hobby lobby, which is a danger zone for me because it is a craft store 😅 and I love being crafty/creative.
There are two Target stores near by and I love going to browse and I get excited for all the new season decor every time. The dollar spot section is a favorite too. Now I need to go to Target tomorrow after seeing this.
Yes!! Target is the number one therapeutic mom get away 😂 I love to walk the isles and decorate in my head because I can’t afford to buy everything I want from Target
I have tons of Target's by me and while I do go there weekly, I'd say the excitement isn't really there like it is for you. We take it for granted I think. It's essentially a slightly better/slightly more expensive version of Walmart.
That is because they pay their employees more. If you shop at Walmart you are supporting corporate welfare. Their employees get paid poorly and do not get enough hours to be paid full time wages. Their employees get paid so poorly, they qualify for medical assistance. Walmart should pay for their medical insurance, not we the tax payers.
Hi! Love all your videos! I too have so many products that need to be packed. I buy as many travel sizes of my products as possible. For everything else, I bought tiny travel size bottles and jars off Amazon to fill. I keep the travel cosmetic bag of tiny toiletries in the suitcase all the time so hopefully packing is easier and faster.
Target home section as self care is my jam. I used to be 5 mins from one and now I'm like 30 and it's rough. Haha but now watching this, I won't take it for granted.
Hi Alexandra, this comment is pertaining to your living room/dining room configuration. I was looking at a few of your "new" home vlogs and got all inspired to add my two cents. I'm sure you probably thought of every conceivable arrangement...but what l saw in my mind was this: ta-da.... build in a custom book case in the set back where the tv is now...purchase a rectangular dining room table that would fill the area in front of the stained glass window(with your DR chairs, of course)...add a couple of comfy chairs to place to the sides of the built in bookcase to create a library affect. Place your sofa facing the fireplace from about the middle of your existing living room and add a couple of comfy chairs, some type of end tables, a coffee table, your big tree plant where it fits best. Your tv above the fireplace, a large rug to ground it all and do your great accessorizing and wall art. I think you would have a lovely and spacious living room(and who doesn't like sitting in front of a fire). Also, the view from your dining room table would be beautiful! Hope you don't mind me offering suggestions! I love decorating and did it for 20 years for clients, friends & family. My degree was in secondary art education, but it opened the door for a myriad of applications. You are a real delight to watch and your ideas are innovative, beautiful and so much more! You and your team do a lovely job and your fun and lively presentations are a joy to watch!! Thanks for all your super imaginative designs! 🤗💗😺👩🏻
Target is fun! I am Canadian but I live in Michigan and when my friends come to visit they always want to go to Target or they will get me to pick things up for them and when I go visit them in Toronto I bring everything they have asked for!!
It's great seeing you exited about every single item! I really appreciate the tour! Lining in the other side of the continent with absolutely nothing like it I can feel you while being exited for you (and a little jealous) at the same time!
I also agree, Target is AMAZING and I got at least once a week! I have also recently discovered a store called Turn 7 that is in NJ and PA that sells discounted Target items!
I’m from Australia and our Target stores are phasing out, Kmart is on the rise in the last few years. I remember my excitement like you when I visit US every time. Their home decors and stuffs are Amazing and plentiful.
Target is really nice, and always keeps it fresh. It's also my go-to for seasonal and holiday stuff, particularly Halloween. Every few years or so they actually have Autumn/Halloween collections that are actually tasteful for year-round set pieces with a moody vibe. Some years are all holiday camp though, but that's fun too lol
Prices were too high here when Target was in Ontario. The one near where I live replaced Zellers and the prices were much better at Zellers. That's why they didn't stay here!
Native Sunscreen is now also the only sunscreen I use! It blends in beautifully (no white cast), it's moisturizing without being sticky, and it's made sustainably. Highly recommend!
OMG! That OG paper….you did that bookcase for Indigo/Chapters, then Dani got the bookcase & eventually took the paper off in one of her DIYs. I remember a number of your videos when you worked for the magazine…seems so long ago. 😱💜
Great haul Alexandra! I live in NH, and there are two Target stores near me. I only go about once a month, otherwise I'd spend too much money! I also like to check out the Dollar Spot in Target where items are priced at $1, $3, and $5 . I love the pillows, candles, small signs (great for tier trays), baskets, and fall decor pieces, especially the pumpkins! Awesome home decor! Love Target! You're welcome to come back anytime!
Sometimes I combine some of the products when filling my travel size containers such as serums with moisturizer as a one step process and when I purchase the products, I ask the SA's for sample sizes and then reuse those containers for travel *especially for trips for less than a a week.
Yep- us Americans love target. As a momma to a 1 year old, we walk around target on too hot or too cold days just so I can get some self care in and he can get his wiggles out 🙌🏻 this is at least every other week
1) Be careful buying art from Target, they’re notorious for stealing from artists. Like straight up copying. 2) The quality of Target really depends on where you are. I currently live in an area with a terrible target, like it’s kind of scary. But I used to live above a really modern, hyper local (target stocks based on location/market) City Target and it was awesome!

I agree. Also from the States.
Oh yeah. Same. Although I go less often
100% 😁
Would you believe I haven’t been in a target for 3 years. I only do pick up in my car 🤣
I live in a big(ish) city with many many Targets and I still get excited every time I go… And yes, shopping there is a weekly occurrence!
My friends and I used to go to Target for fun, but we had a rule:
No cart.
No baskets.
If you can't carry everything to the register, you can't get it.
That's how we stopped ourselves from going overboard with all our snacks and other things 😂 mostly snacks though... let's be honest.

My 2 Favorite places to shop
I have to admit when my kids were very young I would love wandering around Target by myself. It was a great break.
I’m from Washington state and Hawaii and I live a few miles from Target stores in each state. I’m smiling because you are so cute at how excited you are, and I realize I don’t appreciate Target as I should! Just take it for granted! I lived in B.C. “You don’t even moisturize your face! So you don’t even know”😂😻 Me and my sisters every time we travel!🤣😅🥲🥹😇
And yet men have better-looking skin and they age sooooo much slower than women.
I live within ten minutes from multiple target stores and, I can assure you, the excitement is real every time. You guys are adorable and I appreciate you❤️
I live 2 miles away from a target and I legit walk around for an hr just vibin
As a native-born USA-er, I will never take Target for granted again! It is so much fun to see how much you love Target.
Target runs are the best, and everyone I know loves Target. We shop there at least once a week.
A target run all by myself is a my guilty pleasure time off from everything and everyone! It’s therapeutic!!!
I will only watch Target shopping videos from Canadians because appreciate the store on a whole new level!
I always spend at least two hours in Target when I go. I live in Texas. Never gets old.

🤗😘😘🤗
I do the same thing. Packing it when you use it (or at least mentally going through your routine) is the best way to not forget anything
Thank you for the Native code. Love them! I would really love love a video on how to make a budget for a room. How do you create one?!
Target, It's definitely a self care type of place. Glad u all were able 2 make it 2 the greatest place ever 😊
I go every weekend. Never gets old.
This video made me wonder how many Targets are near me. There are 11 in a 10 mile radius. 20 within 18 miles. I have been told I live in shopping central. I’m about 10 minutes from the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, California.

As a person who lives in Chicago with multiple Targets I find this hilarious. 🤣
I feel like the stuff you find at your small indie makers in Canada is soooooo much cuter than the Target stuff.
Cuter, but 5 times more expensive .
As an American who lives down the road from a target, can 1000% confirm me and my bf go there just for novelty and self-care more than ‘necessary’ lol
I go to Target often for self care time! And my Target has a Starbucks inside! I get a latte and just walk around and look at all the things!
You're spot on....Target is good therapy. Especially during the cold Chicagoland winters, it's a great place to wander. There's always a great find!
I go to Target every week. It is a great way to decompress from work.
American here. There's always a Target nearby and I love to just roam up and down the aisles. Very calming and there's ALWAYS something I need.
Graham is just the sweetest I can’t!
I used to live in the US, now I’m back in Sweden.
I miss Target sooooo much. It’s the first store I go to every time I go back for a visit. Best way to kick the jet lag. Walk the ailes up and down for a couple of hours 😁
I live in the UK and we don't have Target but we do have ikea and I love it and they make an awesome smoked salmon dish 😋
I also have a bunch of steps in my skincare routine. I use the same product for each step AM/PM where possible. I also use small arts and crafts containers from the dollar store to take just a little of the product in my bag. Or I try and get mini sizes where I can so that it takes up less space. Target is wonderful, and exciting.
so much so that i refer to it as my tar-shay trips ... loved seeing you guys raid it
Im from the states and I go to target once a week because its so therapeutic haha I never get tired of it!
Alexandra- I LOVE your channel and your creativity! I too do the skin care and pack as I go…you’re not alone ☺️
I used to live a couple of blocks from this Target and must say it’s 1 of the best! And it’s not just you Gater, it’s very therapeutic! I miss being able to go there at least once a week 🎯
I love Target! I love it so much I bought stock in the company!
OMG! I found your channel last month and I can't stop watching your videos every single day and today I realized that you have another channel !!!! I'm gonna see makeovers from now on to the end of the year 🤣!! Greetings from México 😊
Target is the best. I love wandering through with a Starbucks. I go multiple times a week to de-stress. Your excitement was too cute in this video
I love target! I live in the states but i cant ever stop going to target!
I think the bookshelf video was the first video I saw. Also, you’d still go to Target weekly. It NEVER gets old. It’s like a meditation. 💕
Definitely someone in the states who goes to target at least once a week for self care
I live in LA & target is a once a week stop 😍 so therapeutic
I'm from the States. Target is my weekly shopping venture and I always start at the dollar spot first, then the grocery toiletries and cleaning aisles. Harlem is a great neighborhood - have lived here the entire time I've lived in NYC.
I just saw S03E02 of the Netflix Studio McGee show and I saw the ondulating bowl you bought 😂😂😂
Yes absolutely it's therapeutic... totally a target mom here and since I can get a Starbucks and browse my day is made everytime I go🚶♀️ !!
this makes me think of safiya nygaard's recent video about "how retail stores manipulate you". target is soothing on purpose, and it works
I have multiple targets all under 10 miles from me and I go there at least once a week. My enjoyment has yet to dissipate. The best days for me are when I go to both Ikea and Target!
I love Target and At Home store. Prefect for home decorations and decor.
I write a list from top of my body to bottom. Example I start with what I use for my hair then my face etc. I write in my miscellaneous my meds that I need to take and how many outfits and underwear etc. I put my suitcase in my extra bedroom along with my list. its just as exciting bestie!

I'm from the states and have two Targets within driving distance. Target is awesome and no, I never get sick of it.
Oh I love Target, and like to go there a lot. I love so many of their decor items and I totally understand shopping there when you live in the states. Go girl you know how to pick and get your vision on!
Same! I always beg my bf if we can stop at the dollar section bc I just love finding all the little decor and gift basket stuffers.
I live 2 minutes from a Target and let me tell you, I’m there probably more than once a week! It’s the best!
Sometimes I combine some of the products when filling my travel size containers such as serums with moisturizer as a one step process and when I purchase the products, I ask the SA's for sample sizes and then reuse those containers for travel *especially for trips for less than a a week.
Live in New York and Target is very therapeutic and I go once a week! 🎯
Yep- us Americans love target. As a momma to a 1 year old, we walk around target on too hot or too cold days just so I can get some self care in and he can get his wiggles out 🙌🏻 this is at least every other week
Yes! I go to Target at least twice a week. If you’re ever in the Panhandle of Florida, the Target in Destin is awesome!

I moved from the US back to Europe twenty years ago and I still miss Target a lot!!!! I totally get your point 😂😂
Omg that pillow was made for you. I hope there’s an Alexandra Gater collection at Target one day! 😊
