Hey guy you have a nice idea and nice creation but the sparrow leg can stuck into the thread and can die also
It is true that I have researched it, and I will take care of it
but the second think is that' every bird very properly make his nest with lot's of small sticks and chaff objects so i think..no scop of dying..

A layer of paper/ cloth/ hay/ plastic bag could be used to prevent birds from getting stuck,
I used card board and old cement bags to layer in a steel cage! Birds did make nest in it but didn't settle there!
You can also check regularly to make sure no one got stuck there, not just birds, insects and lizards also tend to get stuck on man made structures!

If you live in the US, please make sure you don't host a HOUSE SPARROW (HOSP)! They are non native in the US and are the reason that our native bluebird population has plummeted! One unmonitored nest box can = 1000 HOSP in 5 years! It is better to have no nest box than to hang an unmonitored one.
