London Underground Tube Ride | Westminster to London Bridge | Jubilee Line | Slow TV | Episode 6

You're watching a Slow TV video of a trip on a London Underground Tube Train Jubilee Line from Westminster to London Bridge stations at about 23:15 on the evening of Saturday 29th July 2017.
The video was shot on my iPhone 7 Plus at 1080p 60 fps resolution.
We start our journey outside Westminster tube station looking up at clock face on Elizabeth Tower which most people confuse with 'Big Ben'. Big Ben is the name of the clock's bell, not the actual building itself.
We then go down into Westminster station and to the eastbound platform of the Jubilee Line.
We're lucky in that our train arrives pretty much straight away and we board.
It's Saturday night so most people have had a few drinks and are quite happy and friendly. There is very rarely any trouble on the tube network as there are cameras everywhere.
The first stop we make is at Waterloo station where some people get off and get on.
Then, it's off we go to Southwark Station and finally our destination, London Bridge.
We get off the train and walk up the escalators (moving staircase) before leaving the station and turning back to have a look at the entrance.

Yea so in New Zealand the trains have an emergency release but I still don’t use them cause I’m afraid of being trapped do they have any on the London tube I’m gonna have to go on it soon but I probably won’t panic if there is one

Have a look on today's video th-cam.com/video/KjPagAQYzdk/w-d-xo.html I show you were the emergency stop lever is. You can always get out as there are doors between the carriages anyway.

I know I'm late but, the emergency stop (passenger alarm) lever doesn't open the doors. All it does is light up a light in the driver's cab and then the driver will communicate to you. If there is an emergency, the train will continue to the next station and then assistance will come. If the train is stuck in the tunnels, Don't try and jump out between the carriages because the tunnels aren't very tall and you'll get stuck. Not to mention, there are very high voltage rails running underneath you. If the train is stuck and is still in the tunnels, the driver will contact the line controller and they will turn off the current in the rails and you will have to exit the train through the driver's cab and walk in the tunnels to the next station. However, there is a emergency release in the middle of every carriage on the outside of the train. On the DLR, there is a emergency release lever that you may only use in an emergency.
