The station opened on October 30, 1871 (the Piccadilly lines platforms opened on December 15, 1906).

Yesterday, after getting off the District Line train, I and my mom were at Earl’s Court. We want to use an elevator.
We couldn’t find it and end up finding the spiraling staircase.
It was a pain dragging our big suitcases down the stairs. We still managed to catch the Piccadilly Line train to London Heathrow Airport.
Stupid idea for a station not to have elevators to take you to the Piccadilly Line.

I want to use the Lift, to many stairs for baggage. I think the large Lift goes all the way to the top level.. right ?

Yes, the large lift in the ticket hall goes from the Piccadilly line to the top level, the lift doors are on the back side (you can see them at 5:18, above the stairs).
