Ive watched the interrogations of all these ppl a while back and i remember them crumbling. Young ppl really think as long as they aren't the one who "does the deed" that they're innocent... Smh. What happened to this boy was extremely vicious and cruel.

Actually, she ended up getting a new trial because the interrogator cited information that he received from the other detectives that were interrogating the other suspects, and did that whole bit about talk to him like he's the victim's ghost. None of that is admissible. It's tantamount to allowing those two co-defendants to testify without cross-examination, but got shown to the jury. The Federal Appeals judge said that her original trial would have gone differently. Her lawyer even got suspended for a year for not objecting to it. The new trial lead to a plea of the lesser charge of 2nd degree murder. She only did 9 years rather than life like Amber and Kyle got.
Actually, he's horrible. Liars never remember what they said, but writing something down helps solidify her story. By having her write everything down, he's helping her remember her story. Big mistake!!

My family and I live in a town min away from Summerfield where this happened and I always tell my daughter to always be careful who she becomes friends with due to this. They were all involved and all deserve their actions to have consequences for however they’re involved. They all knew wrong from right and had the opportunity to tell on who was the main culprit! Her actions are disgusting playing the victim she’s evil and manipulative!
I remember when this was on the news growing up. And the movie that came out after about it. All bc of one girl, the lies she told, and the people that thought killing wound be the better option than just no longer being friends.
