Him being a tree climber is interesting. When I got out of the ARMY I used my GI BILL to get a degree in psychology, but couldn't make money doing it. I also became a tree-climber. High paying job that requires very little formal education or experience. The job is dangerous and scary to most normal people, especially if the tree is growing around power-lines. I noticed while doing this type of work that most of the tree-climbers around me were the most textbook psychopaths / sociopaths I had ever encountered. The nature of that job... kind of filters out normal people.
Because the detective is doing that on purpose. If you’re not lying, it won’t matter if he makes you repeat it repeatedly. But if you’re lying… you can’t keep all that straight.
I would NEVER get into a relationship with someone with ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) - cannot handle correction of any kind and often get violent or destroy things because they are mad that someone said "no."

This kid keeps trying to tell the story and the investigator keeps interrupting him. He’s trying to tell the story from when they got to the house and everything that happened there and this guy wants him to start from the beginning of the day every time the investigator interrupt him the kid keeps trying to start over and gets all confused. The investigator should sit quietly and just listen.
