Thanks for comparing the power of the two. I have a 2728-20 and like it, bought a 3017-20 as a second blower. My wife noted the 3017-20 had much lower run time, so I conducted a test using the same fully charged battery. The 3017-20 had half the run time, very disappointing, so I returned it for a refund. I will be buying another 2728-20 or 2724-20.
@@timtadlock7096 It's one of the main improvements--40% quieter, 20% more airflow. The weight is actually supposed to be about the same though--the old one they said was 4.9lb, the new one they say is 5.1lb--that's just according to the published specs. Also the runtime rating somewhere around 10-15% shorter at full power.
Good quick comparison sir. Quick and show exactly what I need to know. Just bought the new one today.

Thanks for the comparison. Trying to decide between the two and this helps.
Glad I could help!
How heavy is the difference
thank you!!
Great stuff thanks
Which one is louder? I have the old one and am thinking about upgrading to the new one…
@jlynchtx The new one, I believe is quieter, which surprised me because it does have more power.
@@timtadlock7096 Thanks for letting me know. That’s what I heard somewhere else too. I think I will give it a try.
