I think the gameplay FPS wont change between different drives... it depends upon what RAM we use it loads all the critical things on RAM and whatever you play is from the RAM
If it's the first time you open it, it's normal. I played on SSD and NVMe before playing with the HDD and the game didn't need to compile the shaders as much. The shaders precompile faster after.
@@Shadowspecs95 It's not normal lol, try on another SSD or even HDD at this point. Maybe there's something wrong with your SSD, and don't forget to not load your SSD at more than 80%.
@@Adam_107_2 I just checked on PS store and available for PS4 and PS5. www.playstation.com/en-ca/games/god-of-war-ragnarok/#:~:text=Join%20Kratos%20and%20Atreus%20in%20their
Don’t see the use of HDD when SSD exist. Could’ve use a small SSD for booting and HDD for storage instead of using one whole HDD making the loading time long. This is so ancient it’s embarrassing
I play on HDD now i have no sttuter at all just little biw slow texgure loading cuz the game is so good optimized even for HDD

Lol thanks i knew there wont be any difference
Thanks for sharing brother!
Running 4TB WD Purple Surveillance HDD (200MB/S) with no stutters and very good loading times on games.
Unlike other Sony titles God of War ragnarok on PS5 does not make use of the NVMe storage speed.
Amazing edit 👍 good Job 👏
Really the size of the game is crazy 190GB, but how big will the Sony games of 2025 and 2026 be?
If u download it from a repack you can remove languages and stuff will be 65gb only
@@douchagmr.doucha981 no 190Gb
btw,i'm finish gow ragnarok + valhalla using hdd without any issues

Thanks.😊😊😊
Thank you friend!
Why is the compiling shaders in mine so slow? It takes 2 hours for mine to fully 100%

@@DeityGamingPower That's the thing, it's like that every time I open the game and I'm playing on an SSD
2 hours? Dude something is wrong with your system

@@COYG94 I just upgraded the gpu and ran ddu twice and reinstall drivers, still same problems. Already thinking of reinstalling windows at this point
My hdd load time is faster
After closing and restarting the game a second time with the HDD, it was faster too.
my hdd took 37 sec, are you opening it for first time on hdd?
I tested it 2 times, and I took the longest one for the video. The second try was faster (don't remember how much seconds).
which sata ssd are u using to perform the experiment and are they all plugged in externally ??
The SSD I use is listed in the beginning of the video and in the description. All internal!
@@DeityGamingPower good choice...any input on crucial mx500 1TB sole purpose is installing games from FG repacks and playing off of it ??
@@MeyrickLagardo Good choice, You can't go wrong with this.
can u do nba 2k25
Sorry! I don't have this game, and it's Denuvo protected.
but sony said they had super fast ssd and without it games will work bad. lol sure there us no differences.
It's for pc that's why I think
game was primarily designed for the PS4, and came out in said console. They had it optimized for HDD drives since the beginning.
They optimized it really well I’m using hdd 😂
do you think it's fully playable on a 5200rpm HDD ?
Seriously, I don't know! I think not, but that's just my opinion!
Yes it is
This was made for the PS4 you will have long loading screen but that's the only down side it's totally playable
@@moeinlatifi4990 Nice! Thanks for clarifying.
@@moeinlatifi4990You mean the game? I swear it wasnt released on ps4
