This is probably too late, but you could (with the front coils out) cycle the front suspension all the way up, then strap it (somehow) in the full up travel position. Of course if you need to remove to make frame repairs, then never mind.

I did manage to do the suspension travel test, just to see of there's any binding or hitting of anything major. so far no issues.
