I am a simple shooter... i see a thumbnail with Ed I click ... I watch with a smile on my face and half the duration of the video im like.... Yes, yes, yesssss!
I've been shooting shotguns for 64 years (since I was 10) and sporting clays for 24 of those years. I've had lessons from Vance Barnes, Steve Nutbeam and Dan Carlisle. Carlisle made the most improvements to my game by far. I would love to have a few lessons with Ed Solomons. I've never, ever heard him give a piece of advice or instruction that I disagreed with. He just understands the shotgun game so well and on top of that, he is a very good communicator.
No one explains shooting technique better than Ed ...love listening to him ...would say that a lot of birds missed behind are because Gun was stopped ...I am guilty of this ie poking...learned that in my head an exaggerated swing works ...forgetting lead ...always think brain sorts that out ? ...so my so called exaggerated swing ...not fast or jerky...then turns out to be the " perfect" swing ... When AI is perfected I am booking Ed's clone for lessons and trips out on Game days !! 😂😂😂 Thanks Ed ...Stellar stuff
Ed talks I listen best coach by far just one complaint, he taught my son to elevate his shooting to a very high level now I can be two guns aways on a driven day and he can drop birds at my feet 😪 !!!
I agree Ed is a great teacher. But had to bust out laughing at the opening sentence. It sounds like he says “ awful shooters” not all 4 shooters. But in my case he would be right. Just found it humorous, I will keep definitely keep watching his videos.

As an instructor myself, I like the way Ed simplify’s things, comes across exceptionally well.
