    Every video with Ed is great. He communicates as well as he shoots.

    Great videos with Ed. I’ve got my licence application in at the moment and once up and running I want to get to a standard where I hit more than I miss and I’m good enough to compete from time to time. Everything Ed says is just as relevant to me as it is to people with years of experience! Brilliant listening to Ed in all the videos.

    Thinking back to the EF Hutton commercials, title should be "When Ed Solomons talks, Jonny Carter listens." 😉
    So the owl is only for certain naughty words and variants? 🤣
    But in all seriousness, another very interesting and enjoyable video. Everything that was talked about made perfect sense. Thank you TGS, Jonny Carter, and world champ Ed Solomons.

    Ed is definitely someone that I would consider taking lessons from, if not for the fact that I am a good 500+ miles from him! (And, boy, could I use them!)
    Jonny, how about you take a course/set of instruction from Ed? Not that I think that you do not shoot well, but as an indication of how most people can improve. You, already, seem to be on a similar wavelength. It would make a most interesting series of videos.

    Very informative video as always, Shooting is great fun and if you have any form of hand eye coordination getting to 65%-75% won't take long, but its the rest that is the tricky part. Seeing the right coach would be essential, The mental side of shooting is probably the hardest point to master. You could walk into a stand and think that clay or pair is easy, and that is an immediate reason why you would miss one, as all clays need 100% respect no matter how easy or hard it may look. The worlds best don't think this way because they know if they miss one of them it can be all over on stand one. The better you shoot and you could be half way round a 100 bird sporting and you might be lucky enough to only miss a couple its hard to forget that and not think about it, as the closer you get to the end the more the pressure builds up and the harder it is to concentrate on the job in hand. This is why shooting is such a great sport. Enjoy.

    What if there were some more incentives to encourage shooters to advance in class? Here’s a few ideas:
    1) If a AAA class shooter tells a joke, all lower class shooters are required to laugh hysterically, regardless of whether it was funny or not.
    2) If a C class shooter is at a trap, and a higher class shooter comes along, they immediately need to vacate for the more experienced shooter.
    3) Hazing of C class shooters should not only be accepted, but encouraged. Nothing too nasty, just shaving cream sprayed in their gun slip, tires let down on their car. That kind of thing.
    4) If a AAA shooter asks a lower class to carry their gear back to their car. The lower class has to oblige.
    Believe me, implement this kind of system, you’ll see a lot more people take their shooting more seriously.

      I see nothing bad about this system and would implement it at all future JCPSA registered shoots

    You think you could do a video describing the differences in feel and swing of an over under versus an automatic? I’ve been shooting auto loaders and pumps all my life, but I really want to get a double barrel as my bird gun

    Very much if you have an endless pot of money or rich mummy and daddy you will make it to the top and if you just a normal working man you might make AAA if your lucky!

      @happynurse8706 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You do need what you said but there's one thing you have to have mommy and daddy can't give you and that's a God-given talent to make it to the top
