I can't figure out why the control knob is on the right side of the x3. That is the same side as the camera grip. Left hand is free to control the lens and do other things. X3 control knob should be on the left.
It’s because they are copying Apple Watch design
@@mKruterthe only thing is you can actually change the orientation of the apple watch, so it can technically be on whatever side

This Trigger is fantastic in every way. I'm a big fan of Godox products. I'm just concerned about the lack of a hatch door to replace the rechargeable battery when one day it becomes too weak.
Will it be possible to buy a replacement battery and replace it by the user, or will an authorized Godox technician be required? Thank you in advance.

This looks a great trigger and I ordered one a few days ago due to arrive today or tomorrow. Kind of regretting it already after seeing a couple of videos on it. It relates to the zoom function, it is ludicrous that if I change the zoom from 35mmm to 70mm for instance every flash head will change to the new zoom setting. This trigger needs a firmware update ASAP, so different flash heads (ie A,B,C,D etc can have different zoom settings) that should have been a given feature. It must be an oversight!!

I already have one of these on preorder. I'm really looking forward to having a full-featured controller that doesn’t block the top-panel dials on my smaller cameras, the way the XPro does. Future production suggestion: how about a single-pin version (sync pin but no TTL/dedication pins) for non-TTL cameras, film cameras, vintage cameras…
Could you please let me know when the Godox X3 Fujifilm model will be released?

that must be name registry / copyright issues. too many brand using xnano and maybe can't be registered using that name.

I have a Sony A7rV and many lights. I have the Godox XPro II TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony. Sadly TTL does not work off camera. Is the problem related to the trigger?
I've had this for a couple of weeks now, the Nikon version and high speed sync does not work. I have it set for HSS, the camera is set correctly, etc, but I cannot go past the camera's normal flash sync mode with HSS selected. Just to be sure it wasn't a camera issue, I went back to my Pro II trigger, and HSS started working fine immediately. So, something is up with this remote and HSS.
Please ensure that your Nikon camera's rear curtain setting is enabled. Additionally, if you haven't done so recently, you might want to check if your firmware is up to date. If it's not, kindly consider upgrading it using the firmware package available on the official website.
@@GODOXGlobal I have done all of this, it still does not work. The fact that my Pro II trigger works with HSS flawlessly tells me the issue is definitely with the X3. I can't imagine I'm the only one having this issue.
would love to try them out and making Profoto and Broncolor run for its life....

This is my first time using trigger, why when I turn on my Godox x3, the screen/lens immediately turns bright as if you were using ISO 6400, is that normal? I just want the screen, exposure, speed as normal and to be able to judge how much light I will give to the photo object

No longer have AF assist light/grid for DSLR cameras, 😞.
I have five older models of Godox controllers for three different camera systems, and thinking back, I have used their AF assist lights exactly zero times! I'm sure they'll continue to make controllers with this feature, just not this one…

No one talk about the bad AWB make, what about flash? Other brand except for Sony flash, not working good with flash, TTL is not send the correct signal, and the color are not correct! Why no one talk about this?
I have to compensate +2+3 to have the correct exposure in TTL. I came from nikon all my life, now I have Sony and this is my only complaint at the moment.

It's better to use Godox flash and Godox trigger.

How did they not think of buttons on the left side? IMAGINE you hold camera with your right hand and cannot quickly access those buttons with the left hand. Funny how they adjust it with the right hand, when camera is put on a table. Who does that? No photographer, never. Maybe on X4 they will correct this filure. Not buying this one just because it is made smaller.
