Golden era of the band, Slippery is a ridiculously good hard rock album, I'm in my 50's so I remember them going big with this LP, the record is pure gold, even the album tracks like Social Disease are brilliant. Wanted dead or alive is the best cowboy rock song ever, it's just f*cking perfection! I saw them on the New Jersey & Keep the faith tours, they were fantastic. The first album up to Keep the faith are my favourite Jovi years, massive respect to Jon & the boys, they have given us some beautiful music. Cheers

I remember when I was saving money as a kid mowing peoples lawn for that album. When I went into the music shop, I couldn't believe I was paying for the album and owning it. Those years were the best times of my life.

I’m glad I got to see them at the meadowlands on the slippery Tour then saw them at Uniondale and giants stadium when skid row opened for them on the jersey tour So glad I got to see some of the greatest bands in the 80s. As much as I can’t stand Jon now, Bon Jovi was the real deal. I used to have their posters all over my walls as a teen. And all the other hairbands

Now this is MY Bon Jovi - I was 14 when this came out and the album was just the best thing I had ever heard. I ended up seeing the band play the UK 7 or 8 times over the next five or six years. Such amazing times.

The best time of my life was listening to Bon Jovi when I was young. I`ll never forget.
Gosh... this song came out when I was around 8 years old. It's a great song that celebrated being young and having fun, and the happiness of life. I really thought this would've been the theme of high school and young adulthood.
But life takes a turn, and I end up with songs by eminem and Linkin' Park to express my moods, and what I was going through. And here, after 20+ years of that, just watching this video, reminded me that there is plenty of fun and happiness in life, and how things were 'before'.
Great song, great energy. Truly a celebration of life that I have gone too long without reliving.
