I used to prepare for UPSC exam for 5 years and I had attempted CMAT this year with literally no preparation and I got 92.26 %ile just based on my current affairs knowledge and English (which is good of serious UPSC aspirants as they are used to read articles of the Hindu and IE), and now, I have converted BIMTECH, IMT Nagpur and NL Dalmia and Waitlisted for Welingkar. What sir has said is 100% correct. Civil services aspirants have certain distinct advantages and those can easily be leveraged to score good marks and compensate for weaker sections.

Bruh how did you tackled the question of your gap year which interviewers would have asked you certainly as 5 years are literally huge and what did you do in your under grad
@@abhinavawasthi638 i also had a job simultaneously so i had a roughly 3 year gap. I was asked about gap year in IMT Nagpur interview and i honestly answered that i was preparing for civil services and they were actually sympathetic towards me. So don't worry about the gap.
