    Bro an IITian can afford to have a break of 4-5 years and he will still be an IITian and get great package as well. This journey should not be taken in inspiring manner by masses.

    Just a pov for viewers.. he didn't have a career gap of 4-5 years without work experience.. he was in a core job and while doing the job he gave 4 attempts.. basically his 4 failures didn't impact his career because he was still employed and also has the iitian tag.. so if you are someone with 4-5 years of gap without work experience and no tier 1 college tag then this video has very little to offer to you video has

    Hi, this is Inspiring but it can't be generalized like anyone can do. You are an exception and an outlier. There is a lack of opportunities in this profile than other profiles like Software and Data. One can't depend on this profile. It's also dependent on your personality and communication skills, this is a trait which can't be changed in a short time. So, there is not any definite roadmap that one can follow and get a job in Product. Let me know your thoughts if I am not getting it right, because the fact is I too want to get into Product from Software but having self-doubt about it.

    • @crackingproduct
      @crackingproduct  ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate your perspective and concerns. While Product Management may seem challenging to enter, it's not reserved for exceptions or outliers. Opportunities in this field are growing, and with determination and learning, anyone can develop the required skills. While personality and communication are important, they can be improved over time. While there isn't a fixed roadmap, networking, gaining relevant experience, and showcasing your passion can increase your chances. Don't let self-doubt hold you back, believe in yourself, leverage available resources, and pursue your goal. You have the potential to succeed in Product Management. Best of luck on your journey!

    Very inspiring and motivating story. I liked how you were not deterred by the failures and instead kept trying. As you said most important is to focus on oneself and keep learning to develop self confidence. Everyone has their journey and comparing with others will always make one focus on the missing parts instead of appreciating ones own journey. Keep going. Your best is yet to come.

    • @crackingproduct

      The number of projects required to cover your gap varies based on the specific skills and knowledge you aim to acquire. Focus on quality over quantity. Identify key areas for improvement and design impactful projects that address those gaps effectively. It's about meaningful learning and growth rather than a specific number of projects.

    Which one is better to choose?? Product manager or product owner???

    • @crackingproduct
      @crackingproduct  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on your preference. Also, in india we have product manager role only in most of the companies. Outside india, you will find product owner role. Here is the difference :
      The product manager leads the product management process and the cross-functional team. Since they’re also accountable to business objectives and goals apart from product success, PMs have more strategic responsibility than the product owner, who leads the development team’s efforts ensuring they’re in line with the product manager’s roadmap.
      The product manager is more senior than the product owner in a traditional hierarchy. For example, the PM is in direct contact with executives and stakeholders, while the PO usually isn't, making the product manager more influential on overall business objectives.

    Isn't Data analytics profile prone to get replaced by AI ?

    • @crackingproduct
      @crackingproduct  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, AI complements data analytics rather than replacing it. While AI automates certain tasks, human analysts are still essential for interpreting data, providing context, and making strategic decisions. By embracing AI, data analysts can enhance their abilities and focus on higher-value tasks, ensuring the continued relevance of their profession.

      Thank you for your comment! While being an IITian can provide certain advantages in terms of job opportunities, it's important to note that success isn't solely determined by one's educational background. It's a combination of skills, experience, and continuous learning that plays a crucial role. IITians, like anyone else, still need to work hard, showcase their abilities, and adapt to market demands. Remember, opportunities are available for individuals from various educational backgrounds, and success is achievable through dedication and perseverance.
