  • In this video I install wings onto my Range Road firewood conveyor so that my Eastonmade 22-28 commercial log splitter will dump the finished firewood onto the conveyor and not dump it onto the ground. 24JAN2024

Congrats on the new splitter. I just order up that same conveyor for my firewood production. I split into bulk bags and am thinking the conveyor will speed things up a bit and save my shoulders from having to throw pieces up and over the sides of the bag. Have you been happy with your conveyor so far? Gave you a sub as well btw.

The conveyor as far as worth the money, is worth it. However if I would have waited a year I could have got the RR503. I got the RR502 which has the rubber conveyor belt. It does not track correctly and ends up running off center which mauls the belt on either side destroying it. This was the issue from the start and is a horrible design. The 503 has the sprocket gears chain and paddles. I can get an upgrade kit for it but they’re out of stock. So I will just be fabricating/upgrading it myself in the next few months if they’re not back in stock yet. Thanks for the comment and subscribing. 👍🏼

Good idea. Just curious, what’s the good, bad, and the ugly on the Range Road conveyor? I also have a 22-28, but can’t afford the Eastonmade conveyor. Is the Range Road gonna hold up? Worth it?

Again, if you get the chain and paddle version it is definitely worth it, but not the rubber belt version. Thanks for the comment and subscribing. 👍🏼
