Not anymore. Austin is now over-populated, traffic is hell on earth, and all the old places I used to fish or collect fossils are all fenced off with no trespassing signs everywhere

as a fellow SoCal, the YETI roadie 24 is worth it, light enough to carry by one person, great to keep in the car too, for when you buying grocery in the summer, or short trips, keep stuff cold, great to have cold drinks for those 1-2 hour trips, cold snacks etc. Great for beach, etc.

This is the Austin that I once loved. Thanks for this vid. I'm not writing the city off any longer because of you. I left Texas for Arizona in 2000 and came back 15 years later. Austin was not what I remembered. I'm now in a rural no city place outside of Waco now. Haven't touched Austin other than the airport and was dearly scared and disappointed so never hung around as I used to. Gotta find me a local guide and spend a day or two and all these spots, I def want to hit!

Because of your bbq videos of the Hill Country, Dallas, and Fort Worth, I bought 2.6 lbs of brisket, 1 lb of baby back ribs, 1 lb of sausage at Rudy's BBQ in Round Rock Texas. The fat from the meats made me nauseous. I threw out almost all of the meat after I sampled each. I'm sticking to filet mignon when beef is my choice.
