I like how it's shaping, but some more 40 or 50 storey ones would be better we've got quite a few 30s now... thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it 😁
@paulwild3676 Can I just say, I'm so grateful for that comment, because when I go places some people can't understand my name when I say it... I'm called Reece but because of my lisp I sound like I'm saying "Reeth" which is so frustrating and makes me feel unable to speak proper English. So I'm happy to hear that! Thank you ❤️❤️
@barbaracartlandmuseum8096 I like both, Leeds definitely has more variety in terms of architecture and cladding styles. Although, Manchester is better for height and being more dominant. I do prefer Manchester for walking round, it's more pleasant as it isn't full of students and shoppers like Leeds. That's my opinion though. ☺️
@@reecyvidz Yes, the buildings in Manchester definitely have more height. It's a shame that some of the buildings in Leeds aren't higher...City Square House, for example. I work in Leeds, so know it well, not so much Manchester. I think Leeds has a nicer city centre - smaller and more contained - but Manchester definitely has more of a 'city' feel. Thanks for making the vids, it's good to look back at them and see how the developments have come along...it's easy to forget how much has changed.
@barbaracartlandmuseum8096 I like Leeds but I wish there was districts like Manchester like student village, Gay village, northern quarter, deansgate etc ❤️ Thank you for watching, I appreciate your comments! It will be interesting to watch back in years to come!
Hope your well Reece did you know there is another skyscraper coming out of the ground ‘called midland mills’ it’s in the south bank area it will be 30 storeys high
Hope the video was worth the wait! Apologies if not! ❤
Leeds is looking really good, it's starting to get a skyline at last.Nice video thanks Rees.

44 Merrion Street, my favourite building in Leeds

Awww what a wonderful comment to read! That's so kind, thank you actually you've made my day ❤️❤️❤️
@@reecyvidzNo it’s true. I love your enthusiasm and you speak in a language we all understand.

Hi! Yes it was lovely weather last Sunday, chose a good weather day! You're welcome, thank you for watching! ❤️
Do you prefer Leeds or Manchester? Are the developments in Manchester more impressive / more ambitious / better quality, do you think?

Great video from my home city 😀
Awh thank you!! Lucky place to call home! 😍👌
I think Altus house and sky plaza need to be reclad to make it look less bland and make it look more detailed. Possibly clad it in brick.
@Thefox0922 I agree, Altus House looks quite dirty on a rainy day if you've ever noticed! Thank you for watching and subscribing! ❤️💖
@@reecyvidz no problem. Keep up the great work
What do you do for a living Recce? you seem to have good construction knowledge and terminology.
@31085shane Hi Shane, just allot of research and courses. I can't disclose that information. 🙂
