Hi Reece. Thanks for taking such an interest in my home city. It's looking more like a proper modern metropolitan city these days. I'm 67 and moved out of Leeds for 17 years in 06 but I came back to stay last year and I just love the way it's looking these days. Thanks again mate.
@sharronclemens Hi Sharron, thank you so much for your kind comment! I love coming to Leeds, it's a very exciting place, if I say so myself... There's lots to see now, it's getting simular to Manchester, and also spreading out like Manchester! 🤩 Glad you enjoyed watching!
Cheers for this, Reecy. I haven't lived in Leeds for 15 years now but spent the first 30 years of my life there. I used to do what you're doing, walking around looking at all the developments (though it never occurred to me to film it as i thought nobody would be interested) and really enjoyed it. Maybe people thought i was a bit odd and at the time i thought i probably was as i seemed to be the only person doing it! But it turns out loads of people are interested in the developments and there's even websites like Leedslist that lists all upcoming developments! So you're doing us a solid here my friend! If you get odd looks during filming remember you've got loads of cheerleaders waiting for your next installment! I can't get to leeds very often these days so your vids are great for me to watch, connecting me and others to our home city and like-minded people. You're doing a fab job. Don't forget that.
@alexanderwaud This comment is so heartfelting! Thank you so much, I would've loved to have filmed Bridgewater Place when that was under construction being the first skyscraper for Leeds, I was far too young, I was only 7 🙃 Plus we didn't have the tech we have now! Which I appreciate because otherwise I wouldn't be able to do these videos or photography! Soo thrilled you enjoyed watching! Take care! ❤️❤️
Another great watch Reecy, I always look forward to your trips into Leeds, you catch some really great shots. Keep up the good work for those of us who live further away. NottsLeeds
Thanks for another video, Reecy! I was up on the viaduct last week...the gardens are looking fantastic. I also had some fish and chips from Hook & Line and can confirm how good they are!
@barbaracartlandmuseum8096 You're very welcome! Yes, some beautiful plants growing! Really nice asset to such a busy surrounding! Yes, I've been going for years, they're the best - I swear by them! 🤩❤️
Thanks 4 this Reecy. Love your videos. 😊 I live in Leeds, but its so different now from when i first moved here (only as far back as the 90's). Like the profile shot at 4'47" - youve definately got a look of Tom Cruise 😉
@mrober001 You're very welcome, yes, I missed out on some major developments like Bridgewater Place and Sky Plaza I was too young to do what I do now! 😂 Haha, do you think so? ❤️
@WmDavidHarrison Awh thank you, you too! 💕 Yes, I vaguely remember coming as a kid in the early 00s and it's a very different vibe these days! I miss those days too though! 🙂
@mi...... Hi Michael, yes, I will definitely do that when I've got more time, I'm much busier than I were, but I will make time for it! Awh, thank you, you too! Take care 💓
Hi everyone! Sorry to confuse everyone, but this was a spontaneous trip, I'm still going up Candlehouse. This is in the coming weeks! ❤
44 Merrion Street looks absolutely beautiful, my favourite building in Leeds
44 Merton street and candle house are probably the only nice skyscrapers in Leeds
God Bless Reecy and thanks for the vids!
@GaryWaltonthebigwobbleorg Your so welcome! God bless you too! 💓

Hi it’s not arena point any more that was demolished in 2023 and it’s now going to be cirrus point. Yorkshires tallest tower
Great video Reece I hope your well.. I was shocked to see your chips wasn’t covered in scraps 😂

Stay positive! Leeds is unrecognisable from when I lived there in 70s and 80s.

we need an update on Manchester development, it's been a while, sorry to hear about your mental health struggles, sending you positive vibes

I wonder how long it will be before Leeds gets a 150m+ building and be Leeds first true skyscraper.
@@OwtDaftUK Hi, I don't think it will be too far off, I'm hopeful! 🤩
Leeds is looking well good. Obviously trying to outdo Manchester 😁
@@retronostalgic The competition is keeping it interesting for us skyscraper lovers! ❤️😬
Also, the weather has not been brilliant for walking tours (rain!) so that's another reason you might not have done more videos.
@@stephenclark9917 Absolutely, everything is more crisp on sunny days! Thank you for watching! ❤️
