Hello can I ask did you use old rods and bolts ? I dont know if its - must have new rods with pistons... by the way thanks for very educational video you know how to get things done :)
@@rastislavnad6548 hello! Yes i used the old rods after they was checked for correct bore and straightness at the machine shop. It is not a must to use new ones when you change the pistons. Usually they dont have problems. Of coarse when you want to push the engine for horsepower it is advisable to change them. Thanks for the appreciation!
And can i have one last question? Are there some higher headgaskets for grinded heads ? Because i only found standart 0.76mm size and i don't know what is the limit for grinding... I found also 1.67mm one, but i think this is too much... I have no one to ask and this is only thing that brakes me now from gettin into job. How many milimeters are taken from head from engine in video ?
@@MrPabsUkThere is sealant between crank carrier and block. Later on the video you can see it , but i didn't record while applying it Thanks for the comment!
@@amtperformance7072 Fair enough! When you put the carrier on, there was no sign of it! As a fellow mechanic of over 3 decades, I like your process, & so would be happy for you to work on an engine for me! 😎
Nice video you're doing amazing job I'm waiting for part 2!!!
Nice job 👍

I`m surprised there's no sealing specified for between the block & the crank carrier.

@@MrPabsUk Thanks man. I appreciate it! You are right the first time was test assembly that's why i didnt put sealant.
No 4t oill to the pistons rings .only 2t
Why are you using 2t oil?
