This is such a gem. My dream home. I am a nature person. Getting 1.5 acres near the city for such amount is worth it. The only additional as part of my customization is having a running 🏃♂🏃♀trails around the whole land, every morning I enjoy my runs. And a kitchen garden to grow my food😀
Would be epic to jog from your land, cross the river to Windsor and back! So much beauty and serenity!

Good old Kiambu County. One would be forgiven to think that house is somewhere in the English country side of Yorkshire, England. As a Kenyan who's been living in the UK for 28 years, I wouldn't think of changing anything save for the Georgian windows which I would replace with huge sliding windows. The manicured gardens and the stream of water is definitely the killer point for me. Lovely vlog as usual guys.

This was an episode that was much needed. A break from the modern houses that we're used to see in the channel. Loved the cozy, serene and warm space it serves and the unique tailored artwork that match the aesthetic of the house😍especially the living space with the sunflower aesthetic from the pillows on the couches to the walls 😍Kudos to you Mansa and Willys for the hardwork you put in touring and uploading the videos 😊It is much appreciated

Compared to the house in Miotoni, I definitely like this one better. Gives medieval vibes but it's more compact and has a warmer feel. I've noticed the bathrooms don't have rain head showers though. Getting into the tub every time you need to shower (na kuoga na karai I guess 😂😂😂 cz I'm not seeing another format) feels like a hustle especially when you're in a rush.

This is all me! love the rustic look and Hendrix is an awesome labador!. You can never go wrong with Kiambu lushness with river appeal. Reminds me of Riara ridge; Tigoni and Cianda homes . the patio bar all rustic wood. I would never leave the house for sure. 1.5 Acres well utilized. Too much on the patio furniture (just my opinion) but the flower(fauna and flora) well done!. The Rustic furniture is definitely my vibe. The treasure chests add great ambience. Needs a Piano :) . The kitchen with the Red Cedar is amazing definitely farm style look. Has the Naro Moru and Tilisi vibes . Bedrooms are exquisite and love the country rustic decor. I would remodel the bathrooms and include Bathtub/Shower minus the wood siding. Green space is vital sad to see the concrete jungles in Nairobi. Great home!

Of all the houses I've seen being sold in Kenya, this is the most worth it for that price point.

Since we are all day dreaming.. It’s a beautiful place, beautiful floors . I would modernize it with brighter paint , the gym/garage with a wall of mirrors, rubber floor, brighter paint and built in storage . Its huge could also house a theatre room .I would narrow and arch the two French windows in living room just to add some curvature and widen middle space for tv . Tear down that kitchen wall that divides with dining and get everything fitted , keep the beautiful island . Replace the tile counters with marble or quartz, put in white weather proof furniture in outdoor patio and black/white art. yes put in a clear glass picture window on the landing area to replace the stained glass . The master headboard wall side I would elongate two side windows, with single glass and wall up the middle window , increase the size of the ensuite and brighten/modern it up a bit. Add balcony . At the desk I would put in a mirror and makeup station. Modernize the wardrobes a bit.. Meanwhile on a pipeline budget 😉.

It sounds like it’s in an estate, so is it controlled?.That servants area looks big I would completely gut the inside and convert it into an income generating bnb or spa . O/w the price is too steep for just living.. it’s also an old house meaning old house issues might come up. You can get a fully renovated luxury home in the English countryside for close to that price na residency . (According to TH-cam)
i love the rare wooden finishes in the house but for a house of that price i just feel much has been left out the land size not withstanding...like one,i do feel all the room should have been en suit, the bedrooms should have been bigger especially the master and at least should have included balconies, the kitchen also lacks a pantry which is a very important fact these days. the design also gives me the vibe of an old house...however though its vicinity of natural aspects like the river, forestry and serenity kind of makes up for the few drawbacks
It is an old house, there is so much one can recreate and maintain within this property.
Half of the price goes for scenery, the compound is on another level. Interior kidogooo, needs some very serious changes. It is a very cool place.

Old money charm ... where two-port garages were not for parking cars because the family often had more than just two cars. So garages were used for extra storage and for starting businesses (Google, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, Mattel, Walt Disney all started out in garages). This house lacks modernity which I think is why our coast is failing. Our generation is into modern architecture. I'm not saying Rustic homes are bad but come on, read the room and live the moment, so 170M NO. Though when you in the house, you remember the good old days. Great content Mansa Plus.

I’m not sure about the operating costs, but all you need is someone good at keeping the grounds that well manicured. I think that’s the major cost. Not much actually! The monkeys are home! They pose no danger!

Thank you for the video. My opinion; the exterior is fine but the interior is a complete disaster, no coordination at all. The owner should have hired a designer to put all these ideas together and come up with an 170milli set-up.
