For the first many listens of this album I had the cd booklet in my hands going through the lyrics over and over. Magical times ✨. Thanks for the Arcade Fire love, hugs from Montreal 🇨🇦
God I wish I could listen to this album for the first time again. So many great songs that I remember grew better and better with each listen. Do yourself a favor and check out some live performances of their songs Wake Up, Intervention, Rebellion, Sprawl and so many others. There are so many members in this band and they are a blast to watch live, as they seem to have so much fun!
I understand why you can't do lots of songs from every album if you intend to go through 500 albums. But it's really a shame in this case, because the other three "Neighborhood" songs are awesome in their own way. #3 "Laika" is rather heartbreaking - the reference being to the name of the dog sent into space by Russia in the 50s or 60s - and died out there. The reference is tied together really well in the lyrics. But #4 "Kettles" may be my favorite because of its intensity. Shame you won't be showcasing any of those in reactions, but I'm sure you will really like hearing them on your own.
Eyyup man, you should react to tubelord. They've broke up now, but there music is amazing! Start off with 'I am azerrad' and continue through there songs as they are awesome! Bless

my favorite song of all time
Although “Rebellion, Lies” is my favourite track from “Funeral”, for me “tunnels” is one of the all time greatest openings to a record ever.

Saw them at chella 2005. Changed my life. I played chella in 2014.
That’s pretty awesome. Can’t wait to listen to the whole album
Been my favourite song since 2005. Second place is a fair bit behind this.

I know this is late and it was probably just a mistake but #3 is power out
this is a top 10 album easily.
awesome! something off of spiderland would be sweet
I’d Like to make another request! Maybe (Katatonia - Lethean)
Cool idea to review a song from each of those from the list. I am hoping you will get around to doing some Beyoncé 😊 #81 and #32 on that list
