It is absolutely ridiculous how talented Conan and his staff are, and how much quality comedy is almost thrown away on eight minute remotes like this that they probably expected no-one to ever watch again. I would comfortably do without all the interviews if it meant more remotes and daft sketches, because Conan is one of the most brilliant comic writers/performers in modern American history.
I remember watching the early years of the show from time to time and they really learned by doing it wrong. It was really awkward and not natural. It's a testament about giving people time to learn and improve.
I watch conan remotes when I'm struggling with a hangover and they're more soothing than most other things. If he were a bit of a sly person it wouldn't have that effect, he always maintains his conscience and morals

Omgosh I can relate lol!!!!! My brother is always mentioning a dumpster and it is so funny how you guys did this skit!!! 😂😂😂 made my night! Thanks TeamCoco!
I loved that first apartment. "Kitchenet with a hot plate." Keeping in mind this is obviously a very old episode going back nearly two decades, easily. So now it's probably like $7K at month.... and you still don't get a stove. So not worth it. Anyone living in Queens, just outside of Manhattan can get a real one-bedroom apartment with a real kitchen and an actual stove for just a tiny fraction of what they'd pay for a cramped crappy studio apartment in Manhattan. So idiotic. Unless you have at least a six-figure job and find an apartment in the city a few short blocks away from work, it is definitely not even remotely worth it.

Robo116 nbc played him. That’s my point. Anything he pulled during his time at the Tonight Show was his prerogative.
