I’ve been getting lunch in the arcade for the past 10 years. I definitely noticed that some things changed a few years ago, but the changes seemed minor and just like a small refresh. I guess that is good, because it is probably what they were going for. But it also shows how expensive true urban projects can be. The arcade is literally in the center of charlottes uptown. The fact that it took this much planning, money, coordination for changes that were barely perceptible by the daily users shows why I’m scared of getting anywhere near a project like this.
