- Pitt won a thriller over West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl. Michigan got back on the winning side, but has serious QB questions. Wisconsin got blown out by Alabama. Notre Dame steamrolled Purdue. Cincinnati snatched the Victory Bell back from Miami (Ohio).
It was another jam-packed Saturday of college football in the North. Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis break it all down on KOTN Late Knight. - กีฬา
This show made my day! Doug is insightful AND hilarious. Landis is the perfect sidekick. Thanks fellas! 😂
I work on Miami University’s campus in Oxford, OH. This was the most-hyped, most-well-attended game in Oxford in at least the past decade. Unfortunate result, and hard to start 0-2 after winning the MAC. In order for Miami to be a perennial contender for the MAC, our students need to care more about the team. Attendance is really weak most of the time.
You guys do a fantastic job for a couple of Ohio State guys. Cheers!
100% agree. I spent the entire day swapping between different quad boxes and asking why can't I customize my choices or atleast give me a regional quad box
Doug tonight 🔥.
Pitt plays an insane exciting amount of insane exciting games
I am a Louisville fan; I had to root for Georgia the whole time. it was pretty gross.

Hahahahaaaa it’s hard to great every year. It’s harder when you stop cheating. Please Doug. Even the mich fans know they are screwed due to upcoming penalties
Explain how they won after Stalions was gone last year if cheating was why they were good.
@@Jon.A.Scholtthey were cheating last yr and had the data n play calls still
@@grego8992 how were they "cheating" after Stalions? Are you saying that every team in America heard about Stalions stealing signs, yet they did nothing to change them? That's literally the only way any of Stalions info could've helped them.
Not to mention its hilarious going back and watching videos from Penn State fans, MSU fans, OSU fans, Bama fans, Washington fans all say things like, "No more Stalions, you're going to lose!!!" Then when they all got smacked they had to call back on conspiracy theories to make an excuse why they got beat.
Michigan won. Get over it.
@Jon.A.Scholt it happened. It's not a conspiracy, lol. Can't learn a new call language mid-season while kids have class. Just look at record before n with Connor on staff to start a season vs. when he's gone. The proof is in the pudding. Unfortunately, that is something that mich fans will have to hear forever. Feel bad for some of em
@@grego8992 If you think the teams didn't change their signs you're either a) willfully ignorant and haven't bothered to look it up because you know they did or b) you genuinely believe they didn't which, frankly, is scary levels of stupid.
You can literally listen to coach interviews last season where they all say this.
Sorry.
I thought I would I have to come here and remind everyone that I'm busy polishing my trophy (not a euphemism but it is figurative) but fortunately Doug is on top of that. Thanks Doug! That's why all your Columbus fans hate you. I feel bad for you because you built your following in Columbus and you're just not allowed to keep it real with Michigan because OSU peeps have a DAWG MENTALITY when it comes to hating Michigan.
As for the QB sitch--and really the offense in general--it certainly has the appearance right now of complete dysfunction. Like, really epically bad. Hard to make up the scenario where it turns out okay. Either the OL has to magically improve (I think Warren could function at a mediocre level with a good OL...he just doesn't have one) or it has to turn out that they have installed a competent Orji offense and for some unknown reason have yet to unleash it. It also would help if Moore/Campbell would accept that Mullings is their RB1 but they seem to refuse to do that.
Ah well, I just sit here and polish the trophy (not a euphemism!) and hope for the best. Because I am not Nick Saban, I am able to enjoy last year and let it cushion the blow of this year (and possibly the next couple). The other thing that helps get me through is watching OSU fans lose their S over the last three years. You would think they'd be ready to focus on their potential championship this year, but apparently not. Well, I'm happy for the Buckeye fans because not only do they have a great team this year but they also get to pretend they never lost the Big Ten under Ryan Day and apparently they genuinely believe that! I envy that kind of delusion because then I could also believe Michigan's QB situation was under control. Good on you, Buckeyes!
Keep polishing that trophy integrity filled Michigan Man. The hammer is coming. And your integrity is awe inspiring.
@@stephenlight647 😁Thank you for your kind words! Although I do not seek or need your validation it is always nice to have someone pay you a compliment. I appreciate your warning about the hammer but fear not! Thus far, all hammer talk is baseless theory and rumor. Bill Landis himself has warned us of the folly of focusing so much on fan fiction.
If indeed a hammer drops (though I am unsure of what the definition of "hammer" is) then I will deal with whatever the fallout is at such time. Presumably a hammer means a postseason ban and some vacated wins? Not ideal but there will always be that trophy that I can just keep polishing. Even if for some reason it is deemed a vacated trophy, it will still be there in all our memories and on TH-cam videos to polish.
Having been on the losing end of vacated wins (Louisville's basketball title, Ohio State and Notre Dame football victories) I can assure you those have always felt like 100% losses so I imagine the inverse is true. A vacated win will feel exactly like a win. I had not yet attended Michigan at the time of the Fab Five but indeed I treat those teams as Final Four teams, so I already have some experience in this area.
I don't know if you are an OSU fan--I kind of assume so because no one else is so concerned on our behalf about the NCAA hammer--but I do hope that OSU fans are not ashamed of their vacated victories under Tressel. Those wins should be enjoyed and cherished. Given your kind words, I'm sure you agree.
Again, the Buckeyes have a great team and will surely win the Big Ten and national championship this year. Every other contender appears to be a pretender. Oregon and Georgia with near losses...embarrassing really. There is Texas but hey, they're down to their backup QB now! It seems this title really is OSU's to lose. With the new 12-team playoff, Ohio State can even afford to actually lose one or two games! Not that they need such room for error. I must admit, I am not as magnanimous as you (especially if you are an OSU fan) and cannot say that I am actually rooting for OSU to win. But when they do, we will be trophy buddies! That is kind of cool. I know, I know, both schools already have tons of titles but why focus on the past when we can celebrate the here and now--Michigan's current title and OSU's imminent one. Go North, and the South can cram it!
@BenMichigan
It's hopeless to try to reason with Buckeyes of his ilk.
Every bit of news about Michigan to them is "confirmation" of the conspiracy theories they hold dear. If it goes against their current narrative, they come up with some other theory to wash it away. They're so far down the rabbit hole and so committed, their whole identity has become wrapped up in their conspiracy theories.
@@Jon.A.Scholt I hear you. I just do this for my own amusement.
😂😂😂😂😂
That "kings of" name is terrible and needs to be reconsidered.
