Man, I liked the Ratchet pen WAY more than I thought I would. Main reason is because it's very clear to me that they used the original game/movie model file to make it, so it's bang-on with the authenticity. Great way to kick of Ratchet's LootCrate legacy.

The TMNT where my absolute fav show and movies back in the day. Michelangelo was my fav turtle, then Splinter. It always cracked me up when Splinter would say at the end of each movie "I made a funny ahaha" "I made another funny ahahaha"
Definitely feel you on the older comics and the page quality back in the day! I don't know personally, but my father told me that you'd have a ton of content in them, and a page for fan letters from kids in the back. One story he had was a kid that wrote in to ask them to tell their teacher off for telling the kid to not read comics in class, and they wrote back something like "Comics are for the park or at home or with friends, your teacher did the right thing!" Awesome unboxing in general!

I really like Loot Crate it has all the geek culture items that I crave. The items are a lot less than what I pay for the service but it really is about the experience. Every month I get this box it feels like I'm recieving a gift from nerd culture as a whole. I think you'd love the Ratchet and Clank series if you gave it a try. A very lighthearted comedic series and they just remade the very first game last year. So never a better time to try and get a laugh.
@6:27 Destiny has not been announced yet. But there is very strong leaks and some concept art from the studio. It's practically confirmed. But still no official announcement from Bungie themselves.
I'd love to see a retro kind of Loot Crate or from another company - older games, older movies. For movies, I mean like Universal Horror, Hammer Horror, 50s Sci-Fi, silent movies (Nosferatu, Phantom of the Opera, Metropolis, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari), possibly Hitchcock. I have quite a few stuff saved on an Amazon wishlist, and there is a decent amount of stuff for this. I haven't seen much Hammer Horror or Hitchcock toys or figures, but I've seen the toys and figures for the others. Although I was more of an Atari kid, there seems to be plenty of stuff based on NES and SNES games.

My father had the super man no1 it wasn't new but still worth some coins and it wasn't as thick as the reprint Dc added extra things in the comic. This is cool, they added something like that. I remember first reading my father's comic collection from 1940s and also recall my father shit bricks when he saw me reading them when I was 13-14.

You know I would never get this for myself but dang it if I dont love watching you open them. Same with Magic cards. I dont play that game but would love to find a group that does. My only issue is that, that game has been out for so long that everyone has great sets. I did once go to a magic shop and the people there suggested I buy this nice set but once you put everything together it was like $1200 just to try out the game.
If I had the spare cash I would probably go for the Loot Gaming, not a huge fan of loot crate because they never really have stuff I'm personally interested in, but I loved the gear in the gaming one, did not know they had one specific for gaming. Maybe one day I might when I have a little bit more cash to blow my money on that's not reserved for games :D good video Boogie! :D
