these photos are stunning! the editing is amazing as well, and I can't get over the fact that she basically said "your fingers are way too long, let me fix that" at 19:56... this has me crying
I'm so inspired that even after all this time you still use your living room and minimal set up to produce absolutely STUNNING results. It's easy to get caught up thinking that we need more gear to create stellar work.
Stunning! I would love to see an Photoshop editing course by you - these edits are stunning and very natural looking which, as we all know, is so difficult to achieve.
I just bought one of these a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING for the video interviews we did... the light was incredible and I was SO SHOCKED about how much power and control I had. The Fact that it on my C-Stand without any fuss and was so easy to balance made for moving the light in many different ways that you could not do with a bigger LED system and a LOT of sand bags. This was so extremely portable and the carrying case was beautifully thought out and designed. I am thinking of getting another one of these and finding a gel solution to really punch up creativity. *I can HIGHLY recommend the Zhiyun Molus G200, it is amazing!*
Your work is, of course, amazingly beautiful as always, but the best thing about all of this is your incredible coaching! This is a masterclass in providing feedback and instruction. Every portrait photographer should watch this! ❤😎
As we see, the reactions to Irene's "oh so euro-polite" coaching and emoting are spot on. The ease of use of these small lights and the color and even-ness of their output is superb. I love Irene's tutorials. Just like how she knows how she wants her models, she knows what she wants her viewers to learn and appreciate.
These are on a whole new level! I always love your outdoor portraits the best, but if you have to shoot indoors - THIS! Beautiful, the way you guided to models to absolute perfection in posing and the flow of the compositions in these are brilliant. My absolute favorite shots are @ 21:29 and 21:56 ! Bravo!
Omg these photos came out amazing. It’s like you channel oil painting into photos and your editing style is is so unmatched. I’m always in awe watching your process.
I love love love your classic painting style in your photography! it is so subtle, flowy, moody and beautiful!!! Great work Irene!! Impressive as always!
This is my first time commenting and I have to say I am in awe. I've been in a bit of a creative rut and while it almost makes me feel like a failure as a photographer, it's also giving me ideas for a shoot. Thank you
amazing. you are able to relate to the normal photographers and inspire in such a way that its duplicable and "i can do it too" feel from the audience.
I absolutely love what you are doing here. One thing that I kept noticing throughout your video was how difficult it was at times to articulate what you are asking of your subjects. Please know that this isn't my critiquing you, not even close. It is my acknowledgement of sometimes no matter how well you describe what you want, comprehension is difficult for the subjects. You would think that "left and right" would simplify things but even that is a struggle sometimes. The only thing I have found that makes a difference is repetition. Photographing the same subjects repeatedly. Each session everyone will get more fluid as a team. Stunning images! You make me want to recreate this vibe!
More magic by Irene. Thank you for showing what wonderful stuff can be produced with not so expensive equipment, without a dedicated studio and using inexpensive accessories. LED lights will only get cheaper as time goes by. EDIT: I think the exact time @19:41 with some kind of Rembrandt lighting with her eyes open would have been very interesting. Maybe for a next shoot? or @19:46?
Hi Irene , Your photography is seriously next-level! The way you capture moments is like pure magic. I'm constantly in awe of your talent and how you bring everything to life through your lens. Keep rocking it, you're a true artist! 😍📸 Merry Christmas 🎄
Waw Irene, you are doing a great work out there, the shoots came out so beautiful and so are your models too. Thanks for doing a practical test with these product G200, it really fast and easy to use as we can tell for selves, no triggers and syncing issues, Am definitely getting my self one of these lights. Thanks again
Your photos come out absolutely beautiful!! And I agree constant light can be used for both photo and video is reason enough, I have bunch of strobe monolights that have been collecting dusts since I got them constant lights. The only time I use the strobe monolights these days is when a photoshoot really need that burst to over power the sun, or freeze motion.
Okay but that’s me positioning my clients 😂 I be like “put your hands like this” and then they do something different and I tell them “ don’t move stay just like that” Your work is phenomenal!!!😭❤
I am & have always been amazed at your work & to say you did it on a shoe string budget , well WOW. I've been watching your videos for years !! Never did I finish a video & say " Well she didn't nail it this time " It was always WOW , she did it again. This video ' like all of your videos' is amazing. Thanks for sharing your world with us. !! It's so worth a 30 min or less video watch
Какая ты молодец!!! Практически в "полевых" условиях, на минимум пространства, создаёшь не просто фотографии, а искусство. Всегда с огромным удовольствием тебя смотрю❤
Hi just wanna say thank u for making ur TH-cam channel I love ur work, I am an amateur photographer only been into photography my whole life but just now acting on my dream to be one and ur videos teach me a lot so thank u so much!
For videos, definitely, but definitely not for photos, they are just too dark, and as you mentioned earlier, very good for someone who needs to learn how to adjust the lights, thank you for video, enjoyed this old fashion style photo shoot.
This is an absolute stunning photoshoot at home! I try to recreate some of your photoshoots because i want to photograph like you! So beautiful and always harmonious
Wonderful - artistic vision and superb dedication to the craft with never ending improvement. I greatly enjoy your photographs and the videos sharing your process. Thanks.
I do like videos that use older gear as we all can not afford R5, 85mmL f1.2, profoto studio strobes and very large expensive softboxes ! You may have to work harder with your older kit, however you can still get great results. I use apsc R7, 7Dii, and Sony A6600 with used canon EF L glass. I just have to do work around to achieve the results ! Great video Irene....
These are so beautiful, amazed by the results of the canon RP and the 50mm lens. Do you have a tutorial showing how you edited this images? as an aspiring retoucher , i would love to see it. Again these are absolutely stunning!
As usual great job Irene: this is an amazing photoshoot. I personally prefere working with strobos because they allow a more dynamic setup, but I perfectly understand the advantages of a direct feedback given by the use of continuous lights. One more time congratulations to you and to your gorgeous models for you extraordinary work! 😊
Irene, this video and the result are so inspiring! Editing tutorial will definitely be beneficial, how you did hand substitute in Photoshop was a very useful tip :) Also would be interesting to know how you approach coloring in postproduction. Again, absolutely beautiful work 😍
You've convinced me to give LED another try for my creative portraits. These are wonderful, but that is no surprise considering who the photographer is. Thank you for another wonderful video.
Hi Irene, great vidéo i love it. Quick question, i see you are using f2.8 because of a low iso and the low power of led light. How do acheive for focus so both figure are sharp? Thanks and great work with all respect.
These are beautiful! Would you please do a video on how you edit these photos? Especially the colour grading and your techniques on stretching the background…
So so beautiful!! I’d be interested in seeing how you choose which ones to edit. Like the whole process. lol! You take so many, do you use Lightroom to organize them? I’m not too familiar with Lightroom.
Excellent video. You do great work in your living room and have done so for years. Wonderfully artistic, as always. Quite lovely models who seemed to enjoy the session thoroughly. The link to the featured light said it wasn’t available. I hope this is because production is just starting because it is desirable. Thanks!

You truly have mastered your style. After all these years you’re just killing it.
its not just photography, it's art. It's Caravaggio, It's Rembrandt its breathtaking. Totally blown away by your eye and your work.
Stunning! I would love to see an Photoshop editing course by you - these edits are stunning and very natural looking which, as we all know, is so difficult to achieve.

Your posing and photography is so incredibly organic.
The images you created during this filming are gorgeous! I love your style, and I love the way you interact with your models!
This is giving me baroque and romanticism...and I'm in love!! Its good to have you back Irene 😊😊
I love this shoot! The painterly quality is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful.
21:56 the expression in her eyes is one of the most incredible I've ever seen. It actually looks like a video game art, if that makes sense.
Your work is, of course, amazingly beautiful as always, but the best thing about all of this is your incredible coaching! This is a masterclass in providing feedback and instruction. Every portrait photographer should watch this! ❤😎

OMG thank you for sharing this shoot with us. The models, with your photography so beautiful, majestic thank you.

These images scream perfection.💞
beautiful pieces of Art, i could almost swear that its close to candle painting from before time.
More magic by Irene. Thank you for showing what wonderful stuff can be produced with not so expensive equipment, without a dedicated studio and using inexpensive accessories. LED lights will only get cheaper as time goes by.
