This video focuses on how I use the ClawMate for mice I don't "main". I'm planning to follow up in a month or 2 to see how my main mice perform with the ClawMate installed.
Thanks for taking the time to review them, it was fascinating for me to see your approach and the different setups you've found so far. I really like your idea of having some pre-made and stuck to the light bar switch. Think i'll have to try that myself.
Interesting. I did the same sort of thing on the HSK pro with grip tape in front of my thumb. Perhaps i should DIY one of these - I'd make them a bit more flat though
You could definitely DIY your own mods, would be cool to see what you come up with 🫡 I'm thinking about taking the edge off of some of mine to make it flatter but I've not done it yet
i have these and they are nice indeed. i have very sweaty hands which means my fingertips slide across my mouse when im under pressure but i picked these up like 2 months ago and they are a game changer. ive also put some pulsar supergrip tape on them to give them even more grip than they already provide
💪 Great break down man. Can't wait to get mine. I'm thinking you could put these on the triggers as well for training of grip style so that your fingers don't slide forward. Like would be perpect to keep your claw grip in place constant without slipping into finger tip by accident. Of which I find my self doing sometimes.
Thanks for the review. I've been interested in this product for a while. Just wondering, which dot skates are those on your GPX? I've been considering trying some but wasn't sure which ones fit the skate channels on that mouse.
Hey Miles, I wouldn't use the ones I have on the GPX (they're the tiger ice dots) because the channel for the skates is probably a bit too deep, i can feel the base of the mouse on soft pads, I typically use the GPX on hardpads for this reason (I dont want to buy proper skates for it cos I don't really use it)
it is possible Michael, I am quite confident in the thicker tapes ability to stick, but havent spent much time with the thinner tape. This is os attached to my NP01s and EC1-CW twitter.com/LOG_PILE_/status/1754055692929962237?t=HpFsWQv2E7Oy6gYmtqLJhw&s=19
The reason noone talks about these is probably that they are extremely overpriced. 16€ for double sided tape and some plastic pieces is just silly. If you have double sided tape and some plastic you can easily make something like this yourself and then you can costumize them exactly to your needs. I've done that on some of my mice and I don't really see any benefit that these claw mates have over my diy mods
You're absolutely right about how it would be easy to make your own mods, I guess it is expensive if you look at it in isolation, but when you consider how much other similar products cost (grip tape, SoSpacers) and how quickly or single use those products are, it isn't particularly expensive. Especially when you consider the ClawMate will last forever. I agree if you have your own mods already, it probably isn't worth it for you to buy more.

I'm going to keep experimenting 😁 the simplicity of the mod is such a feat, well done to you for bringing this idea to fruition 👏
Nice! Seems very versatile in changing up the grip and/or shape depending which you prefer. Def seems interesting
it's great Volta, I'm using them on my fave mice now and they've completely changed the experience

@@Log_Pile DO IT! 😁 (and make a video OFC)
Great review 🎉🎉😊
Thanks Jason appreciate it bro 🙏

I toy'd woth that idea, but my fingers always reach to the end of the clicks so it probably wouldn't work for me

@@Log_Pile Ah, right. Thanks anyway!
Did u end up trying it out longer term on the GPX?
how do they stick on rounded/curved shapes of the mouse?
