- The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki (Trails of Zero)
This game is the first game in the sequel series to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (Sora no Kiseki). Zero no Kiseki follows Lloyd Bannings and his team of the Special Support Section in the Crossbell Police Department. Unfortunately, only the first game in the Trails in the Sky series was released in NA. Zero no Kiseki was originally released on the PSP, but was later ported to PC in Chinese. This version is the traditional Chinese version.
This will be my first playthrough of the game, and as such, I will be prone to making mistakes. I will record anything I find significant, which for the most part, is going to just be boss battles. Since I'm recording this as I play through it, don't expect a regular update schedule, as it's not going to happen. I'll upload as I progress further in the game. I probably won't upload that many story scenes, since I read rather slowly, and most of the video would simply end up being me scrolling very slowly through text. In any case, enjoy! I will be playing in Normal mode, simply because this is my first playthrough and I want to simply enjoy the game for what it is.

I fully agree. Shin Megami Tensei, Xenoblade, and Etrian Odyssey come close though. Etrian Odyssey V used to be my favorite game of all time until I played Trails in the Sky the 3rd. Currently, I've beaten all 3 Sky games and Cold Steel 1, and I'm in Act 1 of Cold Steel 2 and Chapter 3 of Zero.

Excellent games indead. The dualogy was fantastic. Zero was great. Azura war absolutly fantastic. Azure is among my all time best too

The complications within the society and stuff along with characters is too good~
Even the npcs has their own changing personality~

Trails of Zero hype train.
Just started zero. 7hr so far. So good. Love trails 1 and 2 ang should probably play 3 eventually. The opening is great too
You should play third before zero; no joke. Especially for plot reasons

I agreed as a solo game it's 8.5 but pair it with Ao it's 10. The Crossbell arc is Falcom magnus opus
Just finished Ao no Kiseki and I agree. As a whole its a 10. The plot, characters, and settings were GREAT! 👍
I would say Zero no Kiseki was the starting point and the Ao no Kiseki was the finale for Crossbell. Its like Trails in the Sky and SC. Trails in the sky was what introduce the setting then SC was the big plot
are estelle and joshua returning in this series ?
+Ray Plastic Estelle and Joshua appeared in every game until Trails of Cold Steel. And the only reason they're not in that is because it happens at the same time as this, so they're busy in Crossbell.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them re-appear in Trails of Cold Steel 3.
They and Renne are gonna appear in Cold Steel 4, and older as well.
