    The radiator for the CPU probably should be helping convert fresh cool air into hot air into the case. This may increase the air temperature inside of the case. It may be wiser to place it at the top instead of the right where the radiator can remove hot air out of the system.
    Is there a reason though for placing a radiator at intake rather than outtake?

      It's a M.2 SSD so "basically" the same as your ordinary 2.5" SSD, just in a smaller formfactor.
      Often M.2 SSDs also have better performance due to their faster memory bus. Regular 2.5" use S-ATA 3, M.2 typically use PCI-E.
      And the basics of all that: SSDs are similar to normal Harddrives (HDD) where they allow you to install your OS and programs on them and store your data.
      SSDs are, while much more expensive and expected to have a shorter life than HDDs, better in almost every point of view: Quieter, faster, smaller, more energy efficient and are way more robust when it comes to drops and fast physical movements.

    With this case, is it possible to put CPU 240/280mm rad on top of the back chamber and have the tubes reach CPU socket in the front?

    • @pcpartpicker
      @pcpartpicker  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. A 240/280 can go in the top. The tubes going through will depend on the cooler pump. I know the Cryorig one will fit, so likely a Corsair or NZXT one will also. You just have to remove the hard drive cages.

    • @nathanielh8746
      @nathanielh8746 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@m.sm.1159 did you do this? I don't know if installing a 240 on top of mobo side is too tight (general high-heat ambience near crit parts) and would be safer on the psu side, or on front of case (like video).

    this case is only good for liquid cooling. I had this case but found the airflow extremely restricted for the GPU (MSI GTX 980 Gaming). It ran much, much hotter than my current corsair 250D and my old bitfenix. Also, its a very wide case.

      If you put the fan up and you're using a custom gpu, the psu will intake hot air blowed by the graphics card so if the case allows it (99% do) put the fan down

      It depends on the case. As this case has a PSU fan filter with appropriate ventilation, it allows for the PSU to suck in clean and cool air. Most modern cases allow for this. The only reason to flip the PSU in this situation would be if the owner of the PC has shaggy carpets, and the PC sitting on the carpet.
