The flip chip is a down right ….. to get back in. Especially trail side. I opted to go in the low setting with my coil but I didn’t size up in my frame. Sacrificing the better uphill pedal for the better ride downhill. Great vid!
Haha every SC owner knows the pain! My mate who is on a large also prefers it in low and he pairs it with a longer 50mm stem. I’ll keep testing both once I get on the rockshox shock
I opted for a slight stiffer spring 25pounds more than recommended with my RS Coil, the hbo feature helps on the more heavy hitting trails but I’ve found the sweet spot after many tinkering. Adjusting some of the knobs with the vpp is also a pain. 😂
personally i think it just depends what/where/how you ride, i like coil for offpiste riding, but equally like my airshock for park, dont think there is really a wrong answer.
Do you ride more technical trails, too? Interested to see why you chose the Megatower instead of a Tallboy, 5010 or Hightower that would be better for those flow trails.
Changed my Nomad to high today. The X2 felt so much better! Thanks for the vid, might not bother trying a coil now.

Yeah I definitely enjoy the air for jumps and for racing. Ideally you have both and then you’re good for whatever you are riding
