- In this video I share the top 5 reasons that the American Silver Eagle is the best silver to stack! I have done a lot of research on American Silver Eagle Coins prior to making this video I share some info that you might not have been aware of. If you are a veteran silver stacker or a new silver stacker this video on American Silver Eagles is for you! Some of the reasons for buying American Silver Eagles include the fact that they are extremely liquid and recognizable. The American Silver Eagle Coin has over half a billion mintage since 1986 and is still being minted and sold today. I personally am stacking American Silver Eagles as hard and as fast as I can and I am doing very well on my goal for the year. The American Silver Eagle is the base of my silver stack and I encourage you to make it the base of yours!

An issue you've missed is what to make about the involvement of the Bradford Exchange. I would make several points and hold up several fingers. First, the Bradford Exchange gets mixed reviews for products and service. However, they have some interesting products. Second, they seem to offer ASEs at a more attractive price than the Chopper, and they assert that feral customers can't buy these directly from USM. Third, they offer a series of Morgans for each year that appear to be recreations for $39.95 each while the Chopper offers a similar but not identical series for $59.95 each. Finally, they offer a series of O Morgans for $99.95, and it's not clear whether those are original or recreations. If I were buying these, I would ask these questions.

@@semistacker7118 you can wheel and deal on ebay and craigslist. Alot of sellers will give you a deal if you buy more of them. For instance I have a guy who will sell them to me at spot. Bottom line. No matter what the market is doing because I am a regular buyer. Just talk to people make commitments and you will end up ahead.
silver is now US$23.50 if someone private was selling REAL ASE's for $26 right now, and you could buy as many as you could for US$26 now, would you snap them all up very quickly?

The Canadian coins are usually beautiful ... except for the "back side" of the coins.
I love Maple Leafs
In the US we only have a tax if you cash in so many at a time an there is no tax when purchasing.
So basically if you're smart you shouldn't ever have to pay a tax.

In Minnesota anything less than 9999 gold is taxed. And all American sovereign coins are taxed.

Just remember to budget youreself. It's important to invest regularly just make sure you are budgeting and NOT dedicating all you're income into ASE. Other than that. Great job starting young you are already ahead of your class. Buy youreself a biometric safe. Get some ASE holding tubes on amazon. And you're on the right track.

@@SilverDragons47 just one more thing, if silver actually gets to say $100/oz or $300/oz do you think dealers will pay OVER SPOT one day for ASE's when everyone is desperate for any silver? or not really? if NOT, is it actually worth paying $5/oz over spot for them in the first place?
The premium does not seem to scale with the silver value, so I would only consider stacking it preferentially once the premium decreases relative to the silver price -- until then, while the silver price is low, I prefer paying lower premiums.

To me I just feel more safe having a substantial portion of my stack in eagles. Simply less problems using them for trade. Especially trading with people with minimal knowledge about silver.

They are the bomb! Good reasons for collecting. I stack haphazardly. I do a reoccurring direct stock purcase every month and contribute twice a month to my trading account until it builds up enough to make a substantial purchase.

I liked the video. Eagles are my first choice to stack. I'm stacking for asset protection and SHTF. If the latter happens, I suspect that Eagles will be the best to barter with. Regular bullion can be sold to the dealers, but if I need to buy something in an age of hyper inflation, an eagle or two might work best with my local merchant.

i did not know this info before. im new to stacking and i really dont like how the american silver eagles look and i live in the u.s lol, so i started stacking other silver coins based on looks/price. i only have one ASE lol. but now thanks to your vid im going to for sure pick up some more ASEs and hopefully i'll grow to like them. silver is still silver!
I started stacking last week. Got my buddies into it as well. Now it’s a competition. My wife’s on board because technically the money isn’t really being spent, so that’s huge.
I'm using that reason to convince my wife! It isn't really "spending." It is converting paper into tangible wealth!

I am in Sydney at the moment and have just started stacking silver. I have bought 10oz of Kangaroo Perth Mint 2 weeks ago and looking to stack more. I look back to my home country, which is Vietnam, I found a legit bullion company that mint, sell and trade silver, they are selling AES with lower price compare to Maple Leaf or Perth Mint coin. How crazy it is mate! I really enjoy your video and I am looking to share my opinion and my stack one day on TH-cam.

I Love the silver eagles don't get me wrong but a dollar over spot will never motivate me
to release any of mine. I typically buy from online dealers and I have always bought eagles for at minimum $3 to $4 dollars
over spot. Something to think about with all those great reasons. Great video though!

Eagles are great and I love them but in the end price is for me more important when it comes to buying.
If a maple or other coins are lower in price I go for them. eagles only when they is a bargain.

I’ve got the same deal here in AZ. Spot +$1 for ASE. Most everything else is at spot only. I still buy a few different ones because I like them but ASE is my go to. I picked up 5 Australian Kangaroos the other day because the look cool.

Just found out there’s a local silver shop 5 miles away from me. I stopped in today and picked up 10 ASEs and 5 generic rounds. Figured it’ll look good with my bars. I may fill a few tubes of each but I’m still going to stick with bars especially since i just stack to hold wealth, not make it

Hey guys, I’m a 21 year old guy just wanting to make some good financial decisions. Right now I’m saving my money for future rental properties. I’m also dividing my investment funds for a few long term & short term stock investments. Growing up, I’ve constantly heard that investing in Silver is a great plan. So now I’ve decided to buy at least 10 ounces of silver a month. My current question is, “would it be better for me to invest in silver bars (Scottsdale silver Stackers) or these American Silver Eagles?”
does it make a difference if you buy a full round or an assortment of different ASE's or other coins from other countries? Would a complete round sell for more than an assortment?

very beautiful coins! today i picked up 24 american eagles from 1987-1988 and 1992 for €600 ($673) privately via classified ads here in Germany from a woman who inherited the coins from her father, that's €25 ($28) each, I think it was a great bargain i've bought several for 27€ (30$) at a pawnshop but i've never found the american eagles for 25€.
I'm trying to get me some of the Beautiful AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES because I want to start stacking them I really really like Eagles
They are the most beautiful coin.
For example I just went to jm bullion and ASE random year for 200 is 17.33 and they will buy them back for 15.64. The reason i am using 200 is that was the amount of my first ever silver purchase and it was 200 sunshine mint rounds which are 15.68 on JM and buy back is 14.29. the difference is 1.39. the difference for ASE is 1.69 which is 60 bucks which means 4 more rounds of the sunshine rounds over the eagles. I sincerely would like to know why so many in the community think that is better. I am only talking money not recognition or liquidity or anything else. Weirdly enough the coin dealer i mentioned earlier would give me spot on my sunshine rounds and only 50 cents on eagles. anyways I look forward to learning more and thanks for all your cool vids.
