I got a pixie cut and I 100% regret it
I broke down and cut my hair last week, because I couldn't handle the mullet look. My bangs, from the pixie, had grown to be almost as long as the longest layer of hair. When I went to the salon I told her, "I just want it to look like a hairstyle and I want it to be clean." She asked, "Do you want to keep length"? "Yes. I'm growing it out. She proceeded to trim my bottom layer, middle layer, and top layer.... essentially giving me the exact hair I had three month prior.... I cried for three days multiple times per day.... I finally went to supercuts and told her to give me the shortest bob I've ever had, basically taking it as close to the top layer as possible...
To avoid the mullet I just cut the bottom layer in my house. Hairstylist are the worst!
After shaving my head I’m binging all the hair videos in TH-cam

Aysha Amin Yeah. I shaved it like 5 months ago and (although I‘ve had short hair in the past) I really didn’t like it. So I‘m (impatiently) waiting for my hair to grow back into a bob. 😭😭

4 months ago I got a pixie cut with an undercut that was bascially buzzed. i'm in the process of growing this out and I also have thick hair so i'm here for this video!

Gladly surprised we have almost tbrhe same type of hair. I had a pixie cut just before thw quarantine started and i won't be able to cut it again until God knows when. So... I've decided to finally grow it out. Your videos are so useful though this process. Thank you!

Bleach my hair 4-5 time, hair fall out, dye it back to original color, cut it pixie. Now I’m stuck with mullet. I did you wrong hair ‘sorry’. All and all, I should be glad

Omg never thought I would come across someone that does the same exact thing. Wash hair, oil, blow dry a little, oil again lol and make sure hair is not fully dry. Love it!💕

My hair looks great in a pixie or once it gets down to mid shoulder blades. It's the inbetween when it's high maintenance and can't decide if its curly or straight, drives me crazy.
im in that stage already + mullet 😭 my parents are taunting me that my hair is curly and that im the only one in our fam that got the curly trait from my mom but what they dont know is its just a part of the growing stage lmao 🤣
Also, if you don't want to use heat on your hair to help keep it healthy: rollers or pin-curls are a good way to do that!
As for your scalp, if it's itchy and dry, stop using Head&Shoulders. That's coming from someone whose scalp suffered greatly from that brand. It's way too harsh. I also stopped using shampoos with sulfates and silicons a few years ago and my scalp has never been healthier. The shampoos I use are mostly natural ingredients and they wash the scalp beautifully without drying it too much either.
Also, hair oils are the best. I mix my own little potion with oils that work really well for the hair (coconut oil if the best oil for the hair!!!! It penetrates the folicles and stuff).
My hair is waist-length and a bit dry, but mostly healthy (though when left alone, it's so untamed and wild that it looks like a lion mane, lol), so hope these few tips could help other people.

My sisterinlaw has a chi straightner. She hates it as a bad smell. She had a defect in the straightner. Never again for her. I have a very strange texture I have a curl then a straight part then a wave. So i am straightening it and i have grey hair. So i need to color it. But now at the moment. I have a strange color nothing that i wanted. I need to find a new hairdresser. And my cut i have a V shape. And she didnt take any effort to cut it nice. Just whatever i just cut something. My hair is messed up. I have box dye home. So i hope my husband needs to color my hair again and it turns out okay. Or else i go to a new salon and i hope they know what to do

I am about to grow my pixie out....I have Telogen Effluvium at the moment and lost most of my hair...hence the horrible pixie cut. OMG...I'm so upset. I know that this will take time for the TE as well as the grow out...double whammie for me.
