This is the reason Dinomorphia is not played for much people. Too risky.
The real reason is because every card is UR
Diplos, Sonic, Brute, Stealth, and Frenzy isn’t UR though /cope
That's the fun part.
Masquerade is going to be a nightmare for Dinomorphia as it doesn't deal damage it basically make it that all your cards have a life point cost to activate so no matter what effect damage protection you have it won't save you from paying life point to activate a card as a cost.
The sr fusion can save u if im not wrong
@@carlosgabrielsotoc2595 Sadly it doesn't work. Due to ruling shenanigans the Tax Dragon added payment clause dances around that monsters effect. Sadly you're still paying 600 lp, while only avoiding to pay the other half of your life points to get the cards effect. The fusion also only prevents paying life points for Dinomorphia trap cards so everything else is still getting taxed.

Yu-Gi-Oh players of yore not playing Solemn because they were fearful of this exact same scenario... Their fears weren't unfounded.
Yeah I didn't play Solemn for a long time because of that, even know I only use it in my stun deck.
For those wondering why the Dinomorphia player couldn't banish a card in the graveyard to stop all burn damage, you can only use effects like that in the main phase while Lava Golem just immediately burns you during standby phase.
No the protection can trigger during any phase, doesn't have to be the main phase.
The dinomorphia player can't protect themself here because the protection only triggers when the OPPONENT activates a monster effect. Because the player themself controls the lava golem when it activates, not their opponent, the traps in graveyard can't trigger to stop the burn
Any burn deck is nightmare to that archetype 😵💫
You could beat this archetype with Sparks
well spark wont work because of a simpel reason
most of the dinomorphia traps have a bannish effekt to block burndamage from the opponent (wich wont work aggainst lavagolem because its selfinflicted damage)

Stealth Kraken does it. They have to keep banishing their traps from the graveyard just to not take effect damage all the while destroying their cards

The issue is the fact the Dinomorphia player overextended into their negate with Rex. Same issue with Buster Blader. As well. Its best to wait to actually play the card so you don't get Lava Golem'd.
Really Kaiju and Lava Golem are such common stapples to the point Sky Strikers has one too now. It should be anticipated. Then again wish there were more monsters with tribute protection.

despite of high risk hig rewards plays of dinomorphia. I gotta be honest the deck is quite cool for the concept. and better yet it still has a loop hole so they are not overpowering other deck like really superior.

Gotta love a deck that not only insta loses to Feather duster or Lighting Storm hitting the backrow, but also has to hack away it's limbs in order to do a basic bread and butter combo. Just what ere the designers thinking with this archetype? So many good fusion archetypes to learn and draw inspiration from, and they went with this.

It will be funny if Dinomorphia's reducing one's own life points becomes top-tier meta. That may incentivize people to main-deck an Ookazi or two.
Dinomorphia has effect damage protection though, but Lava Golem you're technically hitting yourself lol

@@DaDualityofMan Protection from some effect damage. Certain cards get around it via wording. Such as the Tax Dragon. Masquerade's wording is "Your Opponent must PAY 600 LP to activate cards or effects." So its not counted as effect damage.
Plus the fact the player in this video misplayed HARD they used Kentregina to pull Rexterm by bainishing Frenzy to copy its effect. Thus throwing away any protection they had from effect damage. It would have been better to Frenzy rush Kentregina or Rexterm and stop on the 1 monster first and catch your opponent with the quick effects. At the very least the player would only loose 1 Dinomorphia card from the Kaiju.
This is the biggest issue most new Dinomorphia players make though is overextending and burning their lifepoints to far.

Mmmmmm....Just looking at Dinomorphia for my first time...I'm not digging this whole pay half my LP for all these traps. I had moments where I just didn't care for my LP but geez. There has to be some benefit to doing that right? right?
For Dinomorphia, the deck gets stronger by cutting down your life point.
They skill drain the opponent's monsters which have attack more than the opponent's LP and a monster that's attack increases by how low the player's LP is. A lot of their traps also prevent damage by banishing them from the graveyard.

Hello, I am the player 😂😂 I was running a kaiju deck, so kaiju feild spells, remove brainwashing, kaijus and obviously 3 ash's and 3 maxx cs and a single cross-out. I saw all my staples and only one kaiju which I run 12 of and one of my 2 lava golems 😂😂 sorry that the rng in the game gave me the hand that you didn't like. Out of my entire deck, I got 2 of my 3 ash's. Sorry that that random hand gave me what it gave me and it hurt your feelings 😂😂

It's not the lava golem that gets me it's that Dinomorphia card deck that takes half of your life points why bother using a deck that's gonna take most of your life points and then give an opening for your opponent.
Because they can banish cards from their graveyard to prevent effect and battle damage. Can you read? It says it on the trap cards.
