Glorious place, your video brings back so many good memories of walking up there (3 times now so far) still not made itto the top of the Munro's, very close last time.
Morning Les, really good hearing from you buddy. I know you love the Highlands and your right, a beautiful place the Lost Valley. When were you up in Scotland last? 🤙
Yeah man its was raining💦we were going for a loop over de three sister but when we got up after we crossed the plateau of the lost valley we climbed up and got trapped in the snow and it was very slippery and windy, so we decided to go back. That is also why we didnt climb the Ben Nevis through the CMD, because of this experience. But Mackie in April no midgets😂Its was a beautiful holiday and we come back in the future🤙cheers buddy ❤
@@paul8193 that’s so unfortunate buddy, but I bet you still have good memories of the adventure. You’ll appreciate it all the more the next time, do be was crossed for good weather. I had a fantastic day when I did Ben Nevis via the CMD, a day I’ll not forget. My first name is Dene ‘sounds the same as Dean’ 🤙
@@mackieoutdoors9410 glad your cmd was great😀we had a great climbed through the mountain trail and pony trail. Nice to know your real name👍🏻good night highlander Dene⚔️
@@paul8193 morning buddy. I feel we’ve perhaps communicated before on one of my other videos? I hope on your next visit you manage to get decent weather for your next adventure my friend 🤙😀
I just read the dreadful news of the Parry family and remembered watching this a week ago or so and how treacherous it was for you. Such a beautiful place with a tragic edge to it
Hi Boba. Yes it’s heartbreaking news. Many die on Glencoe’s mountains each year, it’s not a place to be taken lightly or without precaution. I can’t imagine the circumstances in which the father and son died, it’s so very sad.
Was there at the weekend mountain biking with hubby. Tree roots on the tracks nearly ended me!! That’s what I get for trying to be at his level, when I should prob stick to baby trails!! Beautiful though. Right about the midges, think I had a good meal full off them.
We were in the same place at the same time then. Where were you staying? I was camped at Glen Nevis holiday park. What a weekend for the weather and adventure. Where did you go cycling?
Camped (wild) at Coire Gabhail. Used Glencoe Outdoors Centre trails. Don’t know exactly where we were, there’s 3-4 trails. I’ll need to ask Al!! I was too busy whinging about midges to pay attention, and tending to my wounds each time a rock or a root threw me off my bike!! Taking new e-bikes to Fort William (Aonach Mòr) next weekend. Think it’s supposed to be raining, so will likely sleep in the van! Dunkeld weekend after, Loch Oisinneach Circuit. Was a great weekend and the pain of the bruises goes away instantly when you just stop and look around at where you are.
Pure amazing Mackie
Thank you, much appreciated my friend 🤙
Thanks, it is the only way I will ever get there, although I always wished I could have gone there.
Why can’t you go there Bob?
Very nice walk and talk
Thank you Whiskey, much appreciated 😀
