This is a great video, you did it step by step and we could clearly see what was going on. My problem is that there is this 2nd hole clogged under the Brake fluid container, and you didn't show how to reach that one. I suppose you have to remove the entire Brake fluid reservoar and that round metal thing (which I don't know what its there for) in order to remove the rubber thing? My rubber is set with a metal pipe (for some reason) so it looks like a long operation...

Hi you don't have to remove the fluid reservoir, you can nicely reach the second hole from the same position.

My advice is to remove the rubber thing from the hole i did it on my passat and i never had that problem again

Yeah that's probably the best thing to do, mine is however located under the round steel container connected to the brake fluid reservoar so it's gonna take a while to reach it :)

I have taken out the ecu cover and polen filter and replaced both crappy gaskets with silicone, also checked the water drain holes under the battery and they are fine, im getting water in the driver foot weld right below the pedals, the top of the carpet behind the pedals is dry, so is the side carpets near the centre console and the sill. Very frustrating, I think maybe the water is coming from the drivers door in under the sill, and pooling below the pedals. But how do I fix it arrrhhhh!!!

2013 VW TDI WAGON. Water POOLING under pedals and goes back to rear driver side. Went to car wash to witness first hand and water was coming from under panel to left of steering wheel

may i ask, when the water builds up and pools there where is it then getting in to the car? I have cleared both bongs, silicone all rubber seals, removed the pollen filter cover and ecu box and silicone all there as well, after lifting my carpet there is still a leak in the drivers side only, it is coming through the plastic / foam barrier at the bottom of the steering column.

I don’t have water in the front, it’s on the back side behind the driver. Back when I got the car it had water in the front passenger footwell, can this cause it again ?
