Hey Oz, No need to run the engine or have a helper when you need to check reverse light circuits. Just start the engine, put it in reverse, turn the engine off, then turn the ignition back to on position without starting the engine. You can now check reverse lights and camera etc without the engine running. No need to chock the wheels or have someone else holding the brake etc👍
OZ, AWESOME approach and thought process as they say test do not guise/no part changer as always you rock brother MERRY XRSMASS FROM CANADA, ONTARIO. CHEEERS
Given the corrosion, replacing the fuse box was probably the right call. Otherwise, I'd be looking into replacing the relay. I did fix a burnt trace in the fuse box of my Cruze. They are serviceable if you have PCB repair skills.
The only thing that confused the hell out of me was when you said the connector was L6 but the diagram showed L3 and the color of the wire was blue/brown and you said blue and purple. Had me going back and forth a number of time.
Thanks for putting out the videos Oz! I appreciate your time! Great diagnosis.
Excellent diagnostic video and phenomenal methodical diagnosis as always Oz
Great diag and descent Eric O impersonation
You r a good mechanic, nothing is going to stop you, is a tough job

It’s for dramatics. It’s like what happens if the helper lets go of the brakes while Oz is behind the vehicle? Will Oz be ok.
🤣🤣🤣Fair enough, just make sure the car has ADAS, and your insurance is up to date😁👍
Great video like your style and enthusiasm and diagram explanations ALWAYS👍👍👍
Question for you Oz ,did you have to program the unit after changing it out or it's just plug n play?thanks
Hi Oz , couldn't you have used bi-directional control on scan tool to see if scan tool could control the relay?
Not sure if this is an option on the vehicle. But regardless if I did the bi directional it wouldn’t work because the fuse box was bad

@OzMechanics Thnx Oz..Appreciate it
What did the fusebox cost? New or rebuilt?
It was a new one. Believe it was under $400

Did the reverse also work?

I did mess up on the blue and purple but I did explain on the video. I’m human I do mess up once in a while
