    UK here...That is such a cool and tongue-in-cheek steampunk idea. You need the thermos holster to accompany this genius idea. So with one foot on a tea chest and a tattered union-jack flying behind me, I salute you sir - the picnic basket was getting rather heavy and the sherpas were staring to complain. ☕

      It is excellent foam. Makes it easy to get nice crisp cuts, and I like the way it heat forms, not to mention it's strength. I do wish there was an option of getting it in black though.

      And now you know😁. Honestly, as I was making the video in a bunch of random places, it was actually really nice to be drinking tea out of a legitimate teacup. I had a lot of really nice moments of peaceful tea drinking that day.

    Yeah, I've seen buckle straps without additional holes. Plenty of bags and anything custom fitted. The extra holes are for adjustability. If you don't need adjustability, such as with something bespoke for holding a specific item, then you don't need extra holes.

      @@LostWax on the main outside for the saucer bed I used rivets because they look cool and it's fewer holes to punch but I did sewing for most of the rest of it. Ironically I think stamping the leather with the pre-made swirly doodad stamp is easier than cutting it out of foam

      Nice! Yes, What the Foam has a lot of working similarities with leather. Obviously not as strong and long lasting, but great for being easy to work with and not as expensive as leather.

    I love my Steampunk Collection. I'm a Yank, so I don't drink tea, but I would love a telephone holster for my iPhone 7. I'm poised to create one that straps on my upper arm for the gym, like gnarly body armor, while still remaining obscure. I'd also like to make one to go on my belt, but even my leather holsters take a terrible beating. This will take some engineering-are you up to it, Chris? I mean, what is the base? Or. Have you already developed such a thing?

      Hmm, I have no plans at he moment for a phone case, but I'm thinking you'd want to make it from leather if it's going to get constant use.....Leather will hold up much better than foam

    No you don't get the patterns for free. You have to create and demo the pattern. That's the price you pay for us. The tea cup holster is af silly, fun build. It shall surely bring a smile to Grandmas face when she gets to participate also. ( I am 58 and a grandma and it brought a grin to mine.)
