During a episode of My Wife and kids. Damon Wayans did the same thing with his grandson. His grandson instantly started passing gas on camera. I would massage my baby stomach and that helped too.
I learned this on my own raising My baby brothers at 15, they're twins and they were extremely gassy, i used to bend their legs, lift the hips and rub the belly and they would pass gas, smile and instantly calm down
@asuspiciousavocado3317 yep for about 6-7 months my mother was in a coma due to complications from the birth and took her 2 years to recover and i wasnt about to let innocent souls go into the system when i was capable, working and my mother totally prepared me how to take care of them and left me straight financially (its like she had a feeling what was gonna happen) to do so. As of now they're freshmen in HS on the basketball team and honor roll, I think it went pretty well. They split time between me and our mother's house, it worked out, I gave them something I had but they didn't which was a father figure, they're extremely happy, healthy and prospering, they also have a hobby working on cars with me, she raised me correctly so I was able to repay her a little bit by holding the fort down until she got back on her feet and I continued to have her back since. No matter how many kids I have they will always be my first born babies
Leave them alone. Let them do the work on their own. Babies been doing it without any help since the beginning of time. You won't always be there to make it easier on them and when that time comes it will be twice as hard for them. The gas, the faces, the grunting.... That's natural. You folks are always trying to interfere. Why don't you wait until they are having problems doing it themselves before you step it.

Babies aren’t swaddled past the age of two months or so, once they can roll over on their own. Before that, they’re really not moving much when they’re sleeping. People are so misinformed about swaddling, just repeating whatever fallacies they hear. It doesn’t prevent anything, and most newborns love it.
I mean, young newborn babies regularly scratch themselves and also baby acne is a thing. I'm sure if the nurse/doctor saw something concerning they would do something about it...they are literally in front of them and have eyes after all ..
