      You should see how much the Chinese workers are paid in China and if their companies shutdown, the employers just run and do not even pay the poor Chinese workers. Those employees end up sleeping on the street. No money to even pay the train fare to get back home.

      @@TomRivieremusic Luxury is what they make you feel they are living. They try to produce jealousy in you so that they look better. "Luxury" is just the accumulation of "stuff" in life. Going to the store in a 1965 VW Beetle or a Rolls Royce is no different if you think about it. Having "servants" do things for you is pathetic and ignores the fact that life is to be experienced, not "watched" while others do the hard parts of life. As a US Army soldier for 10 years, I spent many months in the field sleeping under a poncho eating C-Rations. Adversity is the key element in life, it makes life worth living and challenges your inner fortitude. The rich don't have that. Without people around them, when the SHTF, they collapse and die. Life is here to challenge you, not give you everything. It is all in one's perspective in life.

    • @ivanskovar
      @ivanskovar 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      You must either be very new in the workforce or you’ve made some life altering decisions that hold you back. No one stays at minimum wage unless they can’t hold a job long enough to get a raise. Minimum wage was never intended to be sufficient to support a family. It’s for part timers and kids.
      With no more than a high school diploma you could start off doing a low paying job at a car dealership. Then move up to being a service advisor (min pay $80k) or selling auto parts (min pay $60k) or even selling cars (pay varies and hours suck, but you can eat). These jobs require you to work 10 to 12 hours a day.
      If you obey the law, do your duty (dot your i's and cross your t's), avoid alcohol/drug related incidents, avoid work place intimate relationships, and generally STFU, stay with that job for a couple years, it is very unlikely you would earn only minimum wage.
      The problem likely lies with your work history or personal character. Time to tighten up.

The other challenges are true but also available across the globe. If Quran says wash your feet then that’s important to offer prayers that you must have cleaned your hands , face and feet . That’s a requirement which make sense , because your feet are always in contact with ground surface can catch any dirt , debris or sth unclean. So it’s important to clean your feet before you perform prayers. It doesn’t say it’s bad to face your feet to someone.

    There's virtually little or no crimes in Dubai, hence women, men and children feel safe.
    Finally, Dubai learned a hard lesson in Yemen civil war, they realised that no amount of technology or bombs can erode the will of the people. They withdrew from Yemen and face own domestic issues. The Emiratis love their small desert and would frown at any nation that is stealing land or oppressing others as they believe in the adage, "do unto others, what you would like them to do to you"

    Let us get real. Nobody will go to Dubai to work if it did not make economic sense. Take note, to get a job in Dubai, you have to pay labor recruiters a fee, usually in the thousands. Only then, you will be able to earn monies. If they earn less than in their countries for the same jobs, they will not go to Dubai. In the US, tech companies hire IT professionals from India and the Philippines but, they are put in temporary work visas of say 6 months which are renewed. They are paid less than US citizens for the same jobs. Isn't that a matter of exploitation? Of course, it is. Those US tech companies have the foreign IT workers at their mercy. If they do not renew their visas, they have no jobs. They cannot complain because then, their contracts get cancelled. I am sure other companies in Europe, Asia and Latin America are doing the same thing to their workers.
