its not Time skip its actually the Shinsu paralyzing technique from near the end of season 1, they just changed it from Water Effects to negative colors for some reason
In fact, this is a faithful representation of the technique(excluding the negative colors part), there is no water effect like they did in the first season.
@@Ex-istido Yeah, though tbh the bubble fx they had with Quant's ability back in S1 was pretty cool and easy to identify, since there was no other way to show it visually. They really had to put semi-Za Warudo's sfx though which got me laughing.
For those who have doubts, the technique that Baam used was Quant's technique, one of the examiners from the first season. And no, that's not stopping time
@@aripacheco824 To be fair, the original had the exact same style change as far as the art/look is concerned. The sound-effect wasn't the best choice, though.
This just highlights how many of these reactor types are simply dumb as hell. No memory or understanding. Makes me grateful to have a proper education.
It’s not a time stop, he learned the technique from a ranker at the end of season 1 when the goat guy stabs Rachel. If I remember right it’s done by pouring shintsu into their body with enough weight to immobilize them until the shintsu dissipates or he releases them.
The animation has been downgrading since episode 1... i understand that there cant be crazy animation all the time, theres no money for that, but i was expecting viole vs love to have more fluid animation like we have seen on episode 1, pls let me be wrong
I srsly hope it's because they put the work for the next episode, since that'd be the actual fight. The animation stills and pans on conversations are so awkward for me, especially during the first 5 minutes. They went with original angles but backfired since the webtoon's panels were much more digestible.
@@KnockKnack true, I mean at this point I’m the manhwa neither the art-style nor animation are too crazy as well so I guess this could be considered beeing faithful until certain point, but again anime-onlys might not understand and drop the show which I hope it doesn’t happen, but let’s see there should be still more 3 or 4 moments that hype me a lot on this cour when it comes to fights so I’ll be waiting for that
I did hear episode 4s animation for the fight was really good and probably the best animated episode so far so maybe they were still saving some animators for that episode since this episode was mostly the psychological game of the test.
Really, it's fucking annoying. Every damn show outside of 1-2 each season is just a parade of bots bitching about animation. I miss the days when people cared about the stories, characters, world, etc. that were shown in anime. Now the only thing that matter is animation...
@@SuperThaxter the bath scene is irrelevant and would’ve wasted time…also the card game was a little fast paced but it was still decently adapted. You’re only complaining cuz you wanted it to go your way but the Anime Onlys that I’ve spoken to are enjoying it
But what a lie, of course they are enjoying it, they don't know what's missing. Your argument doesn't even make sense. It doesn't make sense for them to skip parts when there are more than 600 chapters. What are you in a hurry for?
@@killerghostpt4885 we don’t need entire episodes of ‘bonding’ they can literally just shorten that down and still make it as impactful. And as I said my points aren’t making sense to you only cuz they didn’t adapt it the way you wanted it to be. The way they are adapting it is suited more to an Anime style. The slow pacing in the Manhwa only suited a reading format
When I see these criticisms, it makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Maybe yall are blinded by nostalgia bias, but go back and rewatch it. Pretty much everything is better in s2 than s1. The coloring in s1 was bleached, plain, and undershaded/underdetailed. The fps in s1 was lower, and the animation quality was trash. I almost stopped in the first episode when Yuri kicked Bam in the head; it was just fukkin terrible. The pacing in s1 was slow and boring. I know many who didn't make it thru the first episode because it put them to sleep. The music and sound effects in s1 were worse. The intro was worse. Both seasons have been substantially faithful to the manwha (so far), but technically s2 is a superior product.
Very disappointed with the animation of this episode(tbh i liked the first season animation more it was more unique ) also side characters are not very interesting compared to season 1 characters
its not Time skip its actually the Shinsu paralyzing technique from near the end of season 1, they just changed it from Water Effects to negative colors for some reason
It doesn't help that they added a clock winding down sound effect to it. I'd be surprised if people thought it wasn't timestop..

Reverse flow control, it consist on controlling the shinsu of the opponent.

I know this arc is slow pace. I just want to see intro of uzek mazano
Better read. They cut so much((( And the stop thing... it's suppose to be moove that he learned in the 1st season but display here is awful
Yeah I was quite disappointed in the amount of dialogue they cut down on. The fight with love feels half assed to, it went down better in the manhwa
Display is awful? Bruh it’s more accurate to the webtoon than season one was I swear you didn’t even read it.
Every anime cuts dialogue. Nobody watching anime should expect to get the full story. That's what the source material is for.
I don't think they cut out any significant dialogue from the manhwa also they explain the move later down the line

too many close up shots so far

this season has been so disappointing so far aside from the 1sp ep (even it had flaws but tat least had couple of good cuts)
