Yay! You read A Suitable Boy all the way through! One of my top ten faves of my life. I love your reads this month (although I guess I'm not a western girl either lol). Thanks for all of your book videos! It keeps me excited to read even when my motivation is low. I just finished Sociopath by Patric Gagne on audio and it was really good-- read by the author. It's a memoir. There is one disturbing animal cruelty scene that almost made me stop though. For lighter reading, I'm reading Liane Moriarty's The Hypnotist's Love Story. I usually read heavy reads, so this is way different. Can't wait until your next video!
Diverse group of books! Glad most of the books were enjoyable. Currently reading Tales from 1,001 Nights and another book related to work. I think I’m going to read a summery Agatha Christie next. Take care and thanks for sharing!
I enjoyed 1001 Nights and I do love reading books about authors though I still haven’t gotten to the one about Hardy yet! Hoping to catch up in July on my missed tbr books- been more than ever this year- maybe I’ve gotten too ambitious in my reading list. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. ❤️
I want to read Remarkably Bright Creatures. It sounds like The Winners was not your fav but still good. I’m looking forward to starting the series. I really liked Beloved that I read for my classic book club and our next book is One Hundred Years of Solitude. I just finished the romance Book Lovers and it was a good “ beach read”. Tell your hubby Happy Father’s Day🤗
You will like Remarkably bright creatures is my prediction. Ek on one hundred years- if you like it tell me why. I tried even buddy reading it and we both didn’t really follow or get it- even with the cliff notes- I dnf half way. I am open to it being explained to me as the magical realism in that one is just over this girls head 🤣 a book club is maybe the way to go. I loved Book Lovers! I did like The Winners but not as much as I was hoping. Probably more than most people though. I think reading just Beartown by itself is likely the way to go.
Have you read Middletide by Sarah Crouch? I can’t remember a review if it without going back through your videos. I highly recommend this book. I think it is the best book I’ve read so far this year! Thanks for your reviews!!!!
Westerns are not for me, particularly not that one. Longmire was a very good tv series. I wish I had read the books beforehand. And of course Lonesome Dove has been on my TBR for ages. I agree with you about Remarkably Bright Creatures. I love Backman but don’t like hockey and can’t get past it. I read the first book.
I do love Lonesome Dove. That’s funny about the hockey. I don’t get into many sports focused books but I did take hockey as my pe credit in high school (along with cross country skiiing) so I did relate to kids being really into it.

Thanks Amelia! I am buddy reading the hypnotist love story in August so that’s cool! Thanks for the lovely compliment as well. Happy reading ❤️

I am so glad you did a review of A Suitable Boy. I bought a used copy a couple of months ago and have been intimidating
It’s intimidating! But it was truly a well written book. I will read him again!

@@EntertheBook one hundred years was not my vote🤣. I voted for Dr. Zhivago👍. Now I’m scared! ill let you know how it goes.
I will be reading Remarkably Bright Creatures.
Yay- so good. The line about the title in the book was so profound I cried.
