The main reason many students buy 2 in 1s is to use them for note taking using stylus and you just completely overlooked that part like most other youtubers. Please try to include the stylus experience like latency and palm rejection when you review a 2 in 1 because that's probably the most practical use of a touch screen laptop. Like you said, no one wants a 16 inch tablet, they buy it to use as a note taking device which can run a proper pc OS.
The pen works well, I have the HP one, charges using USB C, very responsive. A good feature is it works with Microsoft MPP2 compatible pens like the ones on the surface so you may be able to get a cheaper equivalent. The keyboard is amazingly nice to type on.

For someone with chronic fatigue this laptop. Changed my life, carrying it around to different places, being able to work lying in bed , it got me a new job . I can only thank you hp for producing such a nice product I’ve truly enjoyed it and it’s been 5 years

Most reviews I’ve seen for graphics cards and laptops that show game performance don’t include Halo (occasionally they do show the average FPS of MCC, but not Infinite). I’ve heard it’s not the most optimized game on PC so I’m always unsure how well a computer I’m looking at is going to run it
The screen wobble when you touch the screen in laptop mode would drive me nuts... I've seen reviews where the screen wobbles when typing on a desk. I'll stick with regular strong laptop hinges and avoid the convertible gimmick.

As someone who has this laptop, don't get it, the screen rubs on the chasis, gets covered in scratches from that and general use of the stylus, it gets concerningly hot when charging, battery lasts maybe 2 hours, and the stylus is pretty unresponsive
I am literally watching from my Precision 5530 2-in-1 (XPS 2-in-1 15" 9575 equivalent). Not seeing Dell come out with an updated model has me frustrated and my machine is an 8th gen. As of today, it looks like there's a 12th gen option in the x360 now.
I'd love to see a poll of how many people are actually using these things as tablets. I used to have a Lenovo Yoga 11S with only an 11.6" screen. It still felt unwieldy to use in tablet mode for leaning back and reading, etc. Now, I could see this having value as a drawing tablet.
I use tablet mode to put on piano and read notes while playing music, I can also bend laptop 270 degrees so I can put it over the steering wheel while watching movie in the car, I can also hold it up more easily while in tablet mode and using it in bed.

I bought this and plan to use it to edit PDFs. I did not see anything in your review about the pen and "writing" on the screen. Can you comment on the pen and is this a good laptop for editing PDFs? I plan to mark them up, save them and email them to colleagues.

Why I love the spectre x360 17' is because of the numeric keys, but now they've removed it. Must hp try and copy apple? We accountant we need laptop that has numeric keys that's why we always choose hp products but 👎🏽

Is that a screen protector or anti-glare coating? It looks like complete ass. The black levels look like a mirror chrome finish its so bad. Surprised you said it was an OLED.

I have searched for that same thing on this PC too. But.... after weeks of other 2-1 reviews & research I went to HP website & customized my own with 32gb ram & 2tb with 13th gen Intel i7 12 core processor & OLED screen. Like he mentioned it is only 60hz refresh rate, but for me using it mainly for Lightroom and Photoshop, this will be absolutely perfect.

First of all, I have used this for 1 year (15 inch) and let me tell you from my own personal experience. If you care about your money, DONT BUY!!! If you do not want to wake up one day and find that the screen has cracked and the replacement will cost more than 45% of the original cost of the Laptop. Very poor sound Worse Battery Overheating or getting super hot Can not even edit 1080 clips smoothly, not good for simple vloging It is a nice looking but poor quality and performance Laptop. if you really wan the best for your money, go get the M1 MacBook. I never used Mac and always hesitated because I have used Windows for more than 20 years. I still use a Windows Desktop PC that I setup myself, but the M1 Macbook Pro is just a life saver in so many aspects. You'll thank me later.
Your statement holds no credit once you said "wake up one day and find that the screen has cracked". Screens don't break by themselves. This laptop that you are commenting on also has pretty good sound and doesn't get hot at all (I own this exact laptop that is being reviewed, not a year old model like yourself).

Beyond note taking, the big, vertically oriented screen is a HUGE deal if you work with PDF files. Like, actually work, not just read a book for fun:)

Why an 11th gen Intel CPU in 2022? Odd choice for what seems to be the top end Spectre. Should have a 12th gen IMO.
Because 12th Gen does not have good battery life and their single core scores are not very different from 11th Gen.
Almost the perfect large ultraportable if it had a 4K 120hz OLED with RTX3060 switchable graphics.
Samsung does not yet make laptop 120Hz OLED, but you can get miniLED 120Hz on a number of laptops this year if you want HDR gaming on mobile.
People should buy Hp Spectre x360 13.5 2022 version with i71255u, 16 gb lpddr4x ram and 1tb ssd oled 3:2 ration, it's excellent. The best.

Ditto. The 11th Gen didn't make sense when new, now that it's old, it really doesnt.
