I see that table really helps keep things straight, and good idea on the square tubing edges to increase the vertical wall strength to avoid warping. I've done some similar sized projects in the past with a simple sheet edge (instead of square) and unfortunately without such a large nice table and warping is always a pita.
DOPE as usual.....didnt expect nothing less. Keep up the fabrication work. A good welder will keep a job....but a welder that can fabricate and fit.......... dangerous
Juan Garcia I have the Canadian version. The Powerpro 160 it is a plasma, tig and arc machine in one . A 5 year warranty. The guts are beautifully laid out inside.
Have you ever tried a Milwaukee Metal Cutting Circular Saw (Model# 6370-21)? I have one and use it every chance I get. It's much faster than an angle grinder and less hassle than a plasma cutter.
Hi JD, I'm a welder from Northeast Texas, I live in't he same town Carroll Shelby did, my dad has worked for him and now his oldest son Mike Shelby for close to 40 years. My question is how do like the Everlast TIG machine you used in this video, and what model number is it?... I'm considering buying one, and don't really know much about those machines. Thanks in advance.
Juan Garcia it's the everlast 200dv... this machine is cheaper compared to the same welder with Lincoln.... I like it well enough, but the adjustment dials are very hard to use. You have no idea where your settings are, so I can be hard to set but it works ok.

It's always tough... this one did warp a little but it's so thin I just bent it back. Ended up well enough, thanks for watching!
