Куліш правильно варити так: зварити 1-2 картоплини 1 л води, розтовкати і повернути в воду, розмішати добре, а потім всипати, весь час перемішуючи кукурудзяну крупу грубого помелу - варити 3-5 хв весь час перемішуючи. Нехай постоїть в теплому 20хв. Коли, наприкінці, додати сметану з яйцем вийде бануш. Є купа блогерів в Закарпатті , Прикарпатті, Буковині котрі ще краще вміють.

Around min. 17, the man says something like "In these places, whoever puts in the work won't be poor". As a Romanian, it's what I noticed in several such villages. It's hard work, but the only people who are poor are those who have a drinking problem - the exception to that is those who have a severe health issue and no family. Most people, though, produce most of their food, they can build their own houses or find neighbours who know hot to if necessary, and they can either sell/exchange extra produce, or find something to do for their better off neighbors. But the work is pretty hard and daily - animals, for instance, don't take weekends off from feeding.
